Lingshan Temple is located in the north of Qiongshanfu Town, Haikou, Hainan. Tiannan Temple was built in Song Dynasty and renamed Tianning Temple in Yuan Dynasty. It was damaged in the earthquake of Ming Dynasty 1425, and was rebuilt by the magistrate Cheng Ying in 1443. In particular, Mingshan Society donated money to rebuild Guanyin Pavilion, Xiudian Hall, Pu 'an Hall, Four Heavenly Kings and other palaces. The provincial religious affairs department issued a certificate of the venue for religious activities, and held an opening ceremony on February 18, 2002, which was officially opened to the public.
