Where is the Dragon and Tiger Pagoda in Taiwan Province Province? Why did you leave a dragon and a white tiger?

Taiwan Province Dragon and Tiger Pagoda is located in Lianchitan, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province Province. This tower has two towers, one is Long Ta and the other is Tiger Tower, which was built in 1976. There is a zigzag bridge on the bank of Lianchitan, and the tower is connected with the bridge. Because there is a saying in Buddhism that saving a life is better than building a seven-level pagoda, the tower has seven floors. Each floor has twelve corners, which are composed of three saturated colors: yellow, red and orange. After direct sunlight, the color is very dazzling.

There are dragon and tiger statues on the left and right sides of the tower. On the left is a dragon and on the right is a white tiger. Because there is a saying that "the dragon enters the throat and exits the tiger's mouth", the design of this tower is to enter the tower from Longkou and exit the tower from the tiger's mouth. From the outside, the two towers seem to be separated, but in fact they are connected internally. After entering the tower from Longkou, you can walk all the way to the top of the tower to see the beautiful scenery of Lianchitan, and then come out from the tiger's mouth.

The scenery in the tower is also very distinctive. Into the tower, there are some murals on it. The contents of Long Ta and Tiger Pagoda are different. Long Ta painted a picture of twenty-four filial sons and a picture of Emperor Baosheng's deeds. Tiger Tower painted a picture of a wise man of Confucius and a general of the Jade Emperor's 36th Palace.

Left Qinglong and right White Tiger represent Feng Shui, Middle East and West respectively. In ancient times, four groups of stars were established according to the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, with seven stars in each group, a total of 28 stars. Among them, Qinglong represents spring and is located in the east, because Qinglong is full of vitality and represents spring just right. Because the white tiger is cold, and the ancient death penalty was executed in autumn, so the white tiger is used to represent autumn, which is located in the west. Suzaku stands for summer and is located in the south. Xuanwu represents winter and is located in the north.

Both Qinglong and Baihu are of great significance. Because Qinglong usually means auspiciousness, some emperors in ancient times chose auspicious Qinglong as their title. The white tiger represents majesty and the army, so some ancient generals chose to name their troops after the white tiger.
