202 1 League of Legends World Championship was held in Reykjavik, Iceland. The international e-sports event with League of Legends as the competition item held by ll Indoor Gymnasium was officially opened on June 5th 10, and the first and second place finals were held on June 6th 165438.

2021165438+1In the early morning of October 7th, EDG team in LPL Division played DK team in LCK Division. After five hours and five rounds, EDG finally defeated DK with a score of 3: 2 and won the 202 1 League of Legends Global Finals.

The shortlisted 10 teams will be divided into two groups by lottery, with 5 teams in each group, and each team will play a single game against all other teams in the same group. The team ranked first in each group directly advanced to the group stage automatically. The third and fourth teams in each group will play the best of five games, and the winner will challenge the second seed team in another group to compete for the last two seats.

16 teams in the group stage will be divided into four groups, with 4 teams in each group, and each team must play two games with all other teams in the group. The top two in each group will enter the knockout stage.

The eight teams in the knockout stage will adopt the elimination system of three wins in five games, and then the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals will be held in turn. The two teams that finally entered the first and second finals will have a best-of-five match, and the winner will win the title of 202 1 League of Legends Global Finals.
