When it comes to the Tang School of Henan Opera, it mainly refers to Tang Xicheng, the founder of Henan Opera. In fact, there was a Tang Yucheng before Tang Xicheng, and Tang Yucheng was auspicious.

Tang Xicheng (1924— 1993) is a famous actor of Henan Opera. Therefore, if we want to say that he inherited and developed the art of "Tang School", we should first say that his teachers made contributions to "opening mountains", so as to clearly analyze the road of "shine on you is better than blue". As the founder of "Tang School" Quyi, it belongs to the "root culture" that promotes the revival and prosperity of Henan Opera, so it is something that people who study the history of Henan Bangzi music and Quyi must face.

Tang Xicheng used to sing Kunqu opera. When he fell in adolescence (13 years old), he gave a pleasant "second sound", also called "falsetto". At that time, most actors made a living by singing opera. Without sound, there is no food. Tang Xicheng got up before dawn every day and hung up his voice. Unconsciously, he developed a high-pitched, bright, generous and masculine fake voice. Representative works mainly include Nanyang Pass, Three Crying Halls, Luoyang Order, Fifteen Passes, Yuanmen Chop, Blood Splashing Black Veil and so on.

Tang Xicheng's most capable disciple, Jia Tingju, is regarded as the head of the vocal music department of the Tang School. In addition to Jia Tingju, he has received more than 20 descendants of the Tang Dynasty, including Yang Zhili, Sun Peilong, Zhou Jianyi, Suo, Ren Jiapo, Zhao Huaixin, Guo Laixi, Yuan, Wang Dongbao, Zhang, Han Xiufeng, Li Anxiang and Wang, as well as Li Xiuhua, Li Shuqin, Shang Yanhong and Wang Zhaolin. Since the early 1990s, nearly 150 "Tangmen" disciples have gone to Jia Tingju and Yang Zhili. Only the disciples officially enrolled by Teacher Ting Ju are represented by Guo Chengzhi, and so on 1 19 people. It can be said that it is the peak of the development of Tang school art.
