What's particular about the worship ceremony of the Lantern Festival custom in Taiwan Province Province?

Every year during the Lantern Festival, people in Taiwan Province Province hold a special "sedan chair crossing the sea" ceremony. The origin of the ceremony of "crossing the harbour by sedan chair" can't be verified, and the purpose is to pray for fishing boats to return home with full loads.

The ceremony of "Shintoism crossing Hong Kong" is generally presided over by temples, and dozens of "Shintoism" usually participate. Before the official start of the ceremony, firecrackers will be set off, which is called "fireworks display sedan chair" in Taiwan Province province. At half past ten in the morning, all the sedan chairs lined up, and the sedan chair people shed their watches, shoes and socks.

Many temples in Taiwan Province Province also hold activities of "seeking turtles" on the Lantern Festival as a celebration. The so-called "begging turtle" is a turtle made of glutinous rice or flour prepared by the temple and placed in front of the temple.

On the Lantern Festival, believers can throw a basket to beg, so that their families can "eat with confidence". Those who beg for turtles must return the bigger turtles to the temple next year. So the tortoise gets bigger every year.
