Questions about the Book of Changes and Feng Shui

China's metaphysics has a long history and can't be said to be completely deceptive. I ching is only a part of metaphysics.

In ancient China, people actually pursued a kind of macro-culture, which was different from the western micro-culture. Macro-culture can't be made into standard data or industrial processes like micro-culture now, such as anatomy and X-ray now, but macro-culture has the advantages of macro-culture and is more flexible and free. For example, people with advanced medical technology can make a diagnosis without any instruments.

However, in macro-culture, there are few detailed explanations and standards, and communication basically depends on understanding, which is closely related to learners' personal understanding. Therefore, this macro-culture has gradually moved towards mysticism.

Fortune-telling is a vulgar example in the concrete application of China's macro-culture, but it doesn't mean that it is completely deceptive. Let me give two real examples. I saw it with my own eyes, and I can swear it's absolutely true.

1. Li, deceased. 1997 or so. Li is 69 years old. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in the hospital, and he still has 2 or 3 months to live at most. His daughter asked her husband to tell her fortune and was told that Li's life expectancy was 73 years. To tell you the truth, Mr. Wang calculated it carefully and said: life expectancy has accumulated and decreased, and there may be discrepancies. But if he (Li) can live through the third day of May this year (the lunar calendar), I guarantee that he can live through 73.

On the second night of May 1 1, Li died of illness.

Second, deputy village head Gao. The party branch secretary is Gao's sworn brother. After Gao entered the township government, he rose all the way and his career was proud. In the first month of a certain year, my husband said: You have been in poor health for years. Judging from divination, there are disasters in both houses (hospitals and courts), and the best result will be to lose one's official position and dismiss from office. It's over. Don't even believe Mr. Wang. Autumn, high duty. Because I quarreled with my wife, I went to my uncle's house in a rage and the village government caught fire. Because Gao was not in his post, he became the biggest person responsible for this incident and was directly dismissed.

Third, Tan, a neighbor of my hometown. About 45 years old, married, four daughters and one son. The fortune teller said, "You have two children now, but you really had an affair when you were young, and it wasn't very serious!" " "Mrs. Tan was there, so she didn't admit it. The husband said, "you don't admit it, but I still want to say that she is in the southwest of your home." "At that time, I thought my husband was talking nonsense. Later, I heard from my father that it was true. About 20 years ago, Tan had a relationship with an unmarried woman, Sue. It's so secretive that few neighbors know about it.

In the above three examples, the fortune teller is the same person. I have known him for nearly 20 years, but in these 20 years, it is rare for him to calculate so accurately. He himself said that sometimes he couldn't understand or understand the code he made.

Fortune-telling is not a lie, but, like the example I mentioned above, it is rare, because few people can master China's metaphysics well. Therefore, the so-called metaphysical study of the Book of Changes is either wrong in research methods or deceptive under the guise.

In addition, China's metaphysics is mostly good at "Monday morning quarterback", that is, calculating the past is more accurate.

China Yijing Research Institute, in my personal opinion, should also be an institution that studies the Yijing from an academic perspective and leads the traditional culture of China into a dead end?
