Lan Yanchun, 1958, was born into a Zhuang peasant family in Guyantun, Danling Village, Xinxu Township. 1976 was drafted into the army in March and worked as a company medic in the 532 17 troops of the China People's Liberation Army. 1February, 979, the counterattack against Vietnam began.
