Does Jingmen belong to Jingzhou area?

Jingmen does not belong to Jingzhou area. Jingmen City and Jingzhou City are two different cities, both of which are prefecture-level cities under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province. Although they are all prefecture-level cities in Hubei Province, the municipal government belongs to different places in different regions. Jingmen Municipal Government is in Dongbao District, and Jingzhou Municipal Government is in Shashi District. Jingzhou, formerly known as Jiangling, is located in central and southern Hubei, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the hinterland of Jianghan Plain. Jingmen is located in the middle of Hubei Province, in the middle and lower reaches of the Han River, with Xiangyang and Suizhou in the north, Yichang in the west, Xiaogan in the east and Jingzhou, Qianjiang and Tianmen in the south.

Hubei is the provincial administrative region and the capital of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China). It is located in the middle of China, bordering Anhui in the east, Chongqing in the west, Shaanxi in the northwest, Jiangxi and Hunan in the south, and Henan in the north.
