1, The Legend of Duke Zhou and Peach Blossom Girl

Native place: Zhougong Village, Taohua Village and Taohua Village in Xingtai City.

Influence: This has caused the marriage custom of the Han nationality in the north.

According to legend, a long time ago, there lived an expert named Duke Zhou by the Qilihe River. The duke of Zhou got the gobbledygook, just like the help of heaven. He never misses, and great things can't beat him. His fame has become even greater.

Miss Peach Blossom got the earth script, and she can solve it and break it, which is worse than Duke Zhou.

There is a stone old woman in Shipo village. Her son hasn't come home for three years, and it's almost the time agreed by mother and son. There was no news, so she went to the Duke of Zhou for good or ill luck. Duke Zhou said to Shi Popo, "Your son will die in a foreign land on a certain day in a certain year, and I will never see him again.

Shi Popo was so sad that she cried and went to find Peach Blossom Girl. Peach blossom girl said to Shi Popo, "Don't be sad, your son is still saved, so go home quickly ..." So she explained.

Stone took the shoes his son used to wear, patted the eaves of the house and shouted, "Put on your shoes, son!" " Knocking on the door with a spoon again, shouting, "Son, come back quickly!" "Superstition, children call the soul, legend is the custom left by the peach blossom girl.

Shi's son has been away in business for three years, thinking about his mother at home, remembering the date of his return home, running around on the road and working day and night.

It rained heavily that day, so I hurried into a broken brick kiln to hide from the rain. Suddenly I heard someone tell him to put on his shoes, which seemed to be his mother's voice, and quickly went out of the kiln to check.

Hardly had he left the kiln when the brick kiln collapsed, and he finally recovered his life.

Shi's mother-in-law was very happy when her son came home. She found Duke Zhou and told him that it was inaccurate. Duke of Zhou was frightened to disgrace, knowing that the peach blossom girl was in the way, and he hated the peach blossom girl even more.

As the saying goes, enemies don't get together. Although the Duke of Zhou and the Peach Blossom Girl were enemies, they got married through Peng Zu's matchmaking.

Peng Zu, an ordinary person, benefited from the Peach Blossom Empress Law and extended his life by 800 years. He also invented soup and became the ancestor of "spoon".

The peach blossom girl was kind to Peng Zu, but Peng Zu naturally dared not neglect her, so she tried to travel back and forth between Zhou and Yin.

Duke Zhou married a peach blossom girl, and he hated and loved her. What he loves is that the peach blossom girl is beautiful, and what he hates is that the peach blossom girl is more capable than himself, so he wants to design and kill her.

Of course, the Peach Blossom Girl knew about Duke Zhou's playboy, so she reluctantly agreed to this marriage, hoping to move Duke Zhou through her own actions and make amends.

Duke Zhou deliberately chose Mafia Day. On his wedding day, he invited all his relatives and friends to hold a grand banquet. People from far and near know that Duke Zhou and Peach Blossom Girl are married, so they all come to congratulate him.

At that time, the duke of Zhou was very proud of his wedding and funeral.

Before the arrival of the bride, he used magic to hide the white horse essence in the door, put a straw wrapped in red line by the door, and prepared fodder for the horse essence, waiting for the peach blossom girl. As soon as the peach blossom girl entered the door, he immediately released his horse and stepped on the peach blossom girl.

According to common sense, the bride wore red clothes and red shoes when she entered the door, but this day the peach blossom girl wore yellow shoes, which broke the underworld and the first plan of the Duke of Zhou.

The peach blossom girl sits in a double sedan chair, and the big sedan chair covers the small sedan chair. The witch grabbed the straw with the red thread and slapped it on the big sedan chair, which didn't hurt the peach blossom girl at all.

When the big sedan chair was unloaded, Mrs. Peach Blossom had a saddle put on the red carpet in the aisle. Then she got off the small sedan chair, crossed the saddle, pressed the white horse under the saddle, took out the magic mirror in her arms, and broke the witchcraft of the Duke of Zhou. She didn't feed the horse, but scattered the peach blossom girl's head. Duke Zhou was very surprised. It was a head, not a horse's head. She had no choice but to accept it.

After the peach blossom girl entered the door, she often quarreled like a real husband and wife. The Duke of Zhou framed her everywhere and was caught by the peach blossom girl.

Duke Zhou was finally moved by the true feelings of Peach Blossom Girl, and married a loving couple, leaving a perfect and romantic love story for the world. Later, the dust settled, and when the time came, Emperor Zhenwu took them back, leaving the world with eternal suspense and fantasy.

The story of Peach Blossom Girl has been circulated among the people for a long time. In the Yuan Dynasty, there was a play called "The Peach Blossom Woman Broke to Marry the Duke of Zhou".

A large number of novels in Ming and Qing Dynasties are described and rendered.

The novel describes Emperor Zhenwu who used a Buddhist monk's knife to cut open his abdomen and wash his intestines while practicing in the snow-capped mountains. Due to blood loss, I fainted and gave up the Buddhist monk's knife. Later, the Buddhist monk's knife was cultivated into a masculine body, and the scabbard was cultivated into a feminine body. The masculine body was reincarnated in Shang Dynasty, the later Duke of Zhou, and the feminine body was reincarnated as the daughter of Yin Taigong. Because of the old addiction at the forefront, she is called Peach Blossom Girl.

They made a world-famous career, and finally they were taken back by Zhenwu Emperor and became the golden couple around them.

Although the story is absurd, it also reflects the splendid culture of ancient China.

Judging from the historical records, it should be certain that Duke Zhou led the army eastward and arrived in Xingtai.

The fourth son of the Duke of Zhou was enfeoffed in Xingtai, so it is not surprising that people call the descendants of the fourth son of the Duke of Zhou hereditary as the Duke of Zhou. Xingtai, as the old capital of Yin merchants, is the rear supply base of Yin merchants, and it is inevitable that court nobles will gather.

After the destruction of Shang Dynasty, Duke Zhou treated the nobles and adherents of Shang Dynasty correctly and put forward many rationalization suggestions, which were praised by Zhou Wuwang.

Zhou Gong's suggestion was adopted, and the imprisoned merchants and aristocrats were ordered to be released, and the money and the giant bridge granary at Duntai were opened to help the hungry merchants, so as to stabilize Yin's people's hearts.

The sand dune terrace is in Guangzong County, Xingtai City today.

This legend is attached to Shang and Zhou Dynasties, close to history, divorced from pure myth, and has certain credibility.

Yin is an ancient surname, and the descendants of Yin Shang took the feudal surname "Yin" as their surname. During the Zhou Dynasty, the fiefs of Yin descendants were always in this place.

According to legend, a long time ago, there was a woman named Yin who was good at divination and was very famous in the local area. She is called Peach Blossom Girl. After her death, she changed the name of the village to Taohua Village.

2. The legend of practicing Guanyin (san huang)

Origin: Waligang and Baique Temple in Nanhe County, Xingtai.

Influence: This caused China people to worship China's goddess Guanyin.

According to legend, Baique Temple was built in the Southern and Northern Dynasties and the Northern Zhou Dynasty, with its courtyard facing south. The temple is dedicated to the "Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes" Bodhisattva, and is also called "Three Empresses" with Miaoshan, the third daughter of King Miao Zhuang of Xinglin Prefecture.

Miaoshan likes to practice and once became a monk in Baique Temple. Because King Miao Zhuang forced him to secularize, buddhist nun, a sparrow, was burned, resulting in the death of hundreds of nuns. So Miao Shan rode a white tiger to Cangyan Mountain to practice. Later, because her father had a strange disease-facial sores, she needed to use her daughter's hands and eyes as a drug primer, so Sanhuanggu gave up her hands and eyes to treat her father.

After King Miao Zhuang recovered from his illness, he wanted Sanhuanggu to be a busy and nimble bodhisattva, and to build temples and golden bodies for him. Because of excessive excitement, he even said that he was "a thousand hands and a thousand eyes."

King Miao Zhuang was originally a deity from a lower realm, and the real dragon emperors were all "golden mouths and jade words", saying that "a thousand hands and a thousand eyes" conveyed the imperial edict to the builders, so when building the temple, they gave Sanhuanggu a lot of hand eyes and eyes, which is today's "a thousand hands and a thousand eyes" bodhisattva.

Temple incense flourished, especially in the two temple fairs on the fourth day of April and the 25th of September of the lunar calendar, where pilgrims spread all over Hebei, Shanxi, Henan and other provinces and lasted about 15 days.

1September, 988, Hebei Buddhist Association designated it as "Baique 'an Women's Dojo in Nanhe County, Hebei Province".

As early as the Sui Dynasty, the legend of Sanhuanggu was well known to everyone. In the twenty volumes of Search for Ji Shen, Guanyin is regarded as a god.

A note said, "King Miao Zhuang has three daughters, and their voices are long and beautiful. The third daughter is Miao Shan and Miao Shan, and they are Guanyin.

The king's son-in-law refused to accept it and exiled him to the imperial garden to live in Baique Temple. It was unbearable to carry him behind his back, so he changed to a ghost.

In a rage, the king ordered the Baique Temple to be burned, and all the monks in the temple were put out by the flame. The monks were as good as ever.

Life is temporary, the knife is 30% off; I was ordered to practice for nothing, but suddenly the dark wind covered the sky and a white tiger carried me away.

The corpse was in the forest, and the Tsing Yi teenager stood by. He crossed the underworld and crossed the Naihe Bridge to save all suffering.

After the resurrection, I went to the forest with many bodies. I met a monk and pointed to Xiangshan to practice.

Later, Zhuang Wang was seriously ill, gouged out his eyes and broke his arm to save him. It was time for him to succeed.

There are thousands of eyes in the air, so it is said that there is no avalokitesvara in South China, which is inspired by compassion. "

3. Legend of Zhang Wudao.

Native place: Guangzong Zhang Guo Village, Xingtai County, Zhanglao Guoshan.

Influence: Become a member of the Eight Immortals.

Zhang, one of Taoism, is his real name.

According to the records of the Tang dynasty, there is a real person.

Guangzong was originally a person, a fairy handed down from the people.

Frequent access to Zhongtiao Mountain, claiming that he was born in Yao, there is a way to live forever.

Emperor Taizong and Tang Gaozong (Wu Zetian's husband) recruited him from time to time, but he refused.

Wu Zetian also told him to come out of the mountain, and Zhang played dead in front of the temple. It was midsummer, and soon, his body rotted and stinked.

Upon hearing this, Wu Zetian had to give up.

But soon someone saw him in the mountains of Hengshan.

Tang Xuanzong summoned him several times to seek eternal life.

Tang Xuanzong saw Zhang, who was old and frail.

He asked, "Mr. Wang is an enlightened man. Why is he so careless and senile? " Zhang Dui said, "It decays when there is no magic to follow, so it is a shame to become like this.

However, if these sparse residual teeth are pulled out today, won't new ones grow? "So he pulled out his sideburns in front of his temples and knocked out his teeth. Xuanzong was a little scared and asked someone to help Zhang to rest.

After a while, Zhang returned to the temple. Sure enough, his face was refreshed, his temples were green and his teeth were white.

So the dignitaries at that time rushed to worship the secret of rejuvenation, but they were all rejected by him.

Once, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty went hunting and caught a big deer, which was slightly different from ordinary deer.

The cook was about to cut the deer when Zhang saw it and stopped it quickly, saying, "This is a fairy deer, which is over 1000 years old. I followed Emperor Wu when he was hunting. Although Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty captured the deer, he later released it.

Xuanzong said, "The world is big and there are many deer, but times have changed. How do you know that he is the deer you mentioned? " Zhang said: "When Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty released the animals, he set up a sign in the lower left corner of the animal head with a bronze medal on it.

"So Xuanzong ordered people to check.

Sure enough, there are two-inch bronze medals, but the handwriting is blurred.

Xuanzong asked again, "When did Emperor Wu hunt? How many years have it been? Zhang said, "It has been 852 years.

"Tang Xuanzong ordered people to check, which is correct.

Later, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty gave xing zhou Wufeng Mountain as a Dojo, and built a "Qixia View" for him, which is today's Xingtai Zhang Shan. Today, there are still Qixia Temple and ancient monuments in Tang Dynasty on the mountain to record this matter. After Zhang returned to the mountain, it is said that people in Xingzhou City can often see him coming to town to sell leeks or do other things. There are often rumors that Zhang tried a miracle. Many people in Xingzhou burn incense in the mountains, and the incense is strong. A few years later, they disappeared. Riding a white donkey on weekdays, you can go to Wan Li every day. Of course, this donkey is also a "god donkey". It is said that when he is not riding, he can fold it up and put it in his purse.

Later, every time there was a drought in Xingzhou, state officials went to Zhang Laoguo Mountain to shave their hair and beg for rain. It is said that everything is needed.

4. Hehe Legend of Two Immortals

Native place: Hanshan area in Renxian and Neiqiu counties.

Influence: It has become the western god of China, and Hanshan Temple in Jiangsu is famous all over the world.

Shuangpengtou Village in Renxian County was called Shuangfeng Village before the Tang Dynasty, which was named after the terrain.

During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, there were two immortals in this village who never combed their hair. The name of the village was circulated with double unkempt heads, which has been used ever since.

According to legend, there was an orphan named Shide in Liuli village at that time. His family is very poor. He is herding cattle and collecting firewood for the landlord.

Coincidentally, in Shuangpengtou Village, just south of Li Sanzheng, there is also an orphan named Hanshan who has the same fate as Shide.

The two of them often graze cattle and collect firewood together, and they have deep feelings and are as close as brothers.

At that time, this area was the southern tip of the mainland, with frequent floods, rivers and lotus flowers.

Han Shande doesn't have enough to eat. When you are hungry, dig lotus roots, pick lotus seeds, catch frogs, and then hug each other happily and laugh.

Whenever they laugh, there will be a whirlwind and a pile of firewood.

They cooked those things with firewood and ate to their heart's content.

The landlord felt very strange and wanted to see it, so he came up to them with a few people.

They thought the landlord was attacking them again, so they picked up the lotus, white lotus root and frog and ran to the southeast.

They ran faster and faster, and a colorful cloud rose under their feet and took them to heaven.

In order to commemorate them, people in their hometown called the path they ran on "Fairy Road" and built a temple statue for them, calling it "Lotus and Clam Immortals".

Because they often laugh together, they are also called "Haha Erxian".

Where did "Ha Er Xian" go? It turned out that they ran to kokuseiji, a cold rock on the rooftop of Zhejiang.

The Buddhist monk Fenggan of Xiaoguo Temple took them in, renamed Shide as "Picked Up" and made up a story that he picked up a pair of young monks from the cold and desolate Shan Ye.

The original meaning of "harmony" refers to the sentence in Li Zhou Di Guan, which means that two surnames get married through matchmaking, bringing men and women together and living in harmony.

Who knows that "harmony between the two immortals" is well received by the general public, and it has become an auspicious symbol with the gods such as longevity, which has greatly exceeded the meaning of marriage harmony.

Later, they went to Miaoliping Pagoda in Xifengqiao Town, Suzhou.

Hanshan became the abbot of the temple and was called a monk. The temple was renamed Hanshan Temple.

During the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, Zhang Ji failed in the exam, stayed in Qiao Feng Temple and wrote the famous a night-mooring near maple bridge, which made Hanshan Temple famous all over the world.

There are no mountains in Hanshan, but there are temples in Hanshan.

Although the temple is not big, the bell has traveled across the ocean and spread to other places; Although there are few eminent monks, believers worship them abnormally.

It is even said that the pickup truck went to Japan, where a pickup truck temple was built, echoing the Hanshan Temple in Suzhou.

The brotherhood of "He Erxian" is so deep that many wanderers are deeply saddened.

The legend of "Harmony with Two Immortals" is becoming more and more popular.

Some people say that they are Manjusri and Pu Xian, so they keep smiling. Up to now, it has become a folk god of laughter, luck, XiShen and good fortune.

Two chubby little fairies, a pair of red silk and green trousers, holding a blooming lotus in their hands; A green satin red trousers with a round box in his hand.

Both of them are wearing a bun, talking and laughing, lively and lovely.

Exactly: harmony is the combination of all things, and harmony is the combination of things.

The world can live in harmony. What about happiness?

Hanshan frantically picked up his own behavior, like a monk, like a monk, like a fairy, like a hermit, or lying in a cave, or floating on the top of the mountain, singing alone in the forest, full of whispers, without any fireworks.

The mad monk stayed behind, mystifying, laughing, hugging each other, laughing together, harmonious and affectionate, including auspicious opportunities, close to Confucianism, and quite brilliant.

Hanshan's poems depict the scenery of nymphs, satirize the coldness of the world and encourage vulgarity, which not only reflects the reality of social life, but also implies the inspiration of transcendence and freedom.

Hanshan's poems catch up with Tao Yuanming and are admired through the ages. Although it is a vernacular poem, it seems plain and simple, but it criticizes the shortcomings of the times and hits the nail on the head.

There are two volumes of Hanshanzi's poems in Sikuquanshu in Qing Dynasty, one of which was collected by Feng Gan.

They are called "Poetic Bodhisattvas" and "Poetic Monks".

Ordinary scholars often imitate singing.

Kang Youwei wrote a poem praising: "The bell has crossed the sea, heading east, and it is as cold as Hanshan Ancient Temple.

Don't be rich and talkative, it's not empty to turn people into people.

Hu Shi also appreciates Hanshan's poems.
