What book is Zhouyi?

Overview of Zhouyi

The books divination and Zhouyi originated from the practice of divination in Oracle Bone Inscriptions. Perhaps at the end of the Shang Dynasty, Zhou Wenwang wrote down the hexagrams in the sixty-four hexagrams system. Later in the Spring and Autumn Period, Confucius' disciples inherited Confucius' discovery of Zhouyi and wrote Yi Zhuan. When Qin Shihuang burned books to bury Confucianism, Lisi listed it as a medical divination book and preserved it.

The invention of using gossip to predict information in Zhouyi is a true portrayal of China people's materialistic world outlook. The difficulties they encounter in practice and daily life are not to turn to idols, but to use scientific methods to predict the good and bad of nature and personnel through gossip, so as to be aware of everything and be prepared for everything, so as to better understand, transform and promote the continuous development of society. Therefore, Yi Gua and Zhouyi are a great information base.

After thousands of years of vicissitudes, Zhouyi has become the root of China culture. Yi Dao pays attention to the interaction between Yin and Yang, combines rigidity with softness, and advocates self-improvement and morality. In the 5,000-year history of civilization, the Chinese nation has been able to endure numerous disasters for a long time, tide over the difficulties, recover from the recession, and continue to grow and develop, which is closely related to our nation's grasp of the times of Yi Dao spirit.

The reason why Zhouyi, an ancient and splendid cultural treasure, can remain immortal lies in its practicality and scientificity. Its unique function of forecasting and reflecting in advance is unmatched by any scientific instrument at present, and it can measure people in the sky, the earth and the middle. The human body itself is an information sensor, which has the function of predicting information and has a fine and strict division of labor. In divination, the copper coin is placed flat on the palm of your hand, and the human easy field acts on the copper coin, making it move according to the induction easy field, so the change of the copper coin reflects the change of yin and yang of the corresponding thing.

At present, there is still no significant progress in the exploration of the principle of Yi-ology in China, and the theoretical research is stagnant, and the thinking is chaotic, and the practical application tends to be mysterious. The above situation has seriously distorted the academic status of Yi-ology, hindered the benign development of China Yi-ology, and blinded the true value of Yi-ology.

The Book of Changes is a classic that can best reflect the culture of China. It holds that everything in the world is developing and changing, and the basic elements of its change are Yin (-) and Yang (-). The Book of Changes says, "One yin and one yang is the way." Everything in the world is the result of the interaction of yin and yang. The research object of Zhouyi is heaven, earth and man, and man is the foundation. Three talents have their own yin and yang, so the Book of Changes has six hexagons. As Shuo Gua said: "Heaven stands for Yin and Yang, the earth stands for rigidity and softness, and man stands for benevolence and righteousness. It's a combination of three talents, so "easy" is stubborn. It is divided into yin and yang, and it is both rigid and soft, so the Book of Changes is six chapters. " Gankun is the divination of pure yang, and Kun is the divination of pure yin. Gan Kun is the general representative of Yin and Yang, and also the foundation of Yin and Yang. In Cohesion, Confucius said that "dry Kun becomes evil" and "dry Kun becomes evil". Yi Gan Wei Zhi Du said: "Gan Kun is the root of Yin and Yang and the ancestor of all things." The ranking of the popular Book of Changes is based on the preface and divination, with Gan and Kun as the first. "Cohesion" begins with: "Heaven honors the earth, and you can do it. Humble and high, with Chen, high and low. There are both movements and movements, and there are just softness. " Classical Chinese is a biography devoted to the study of Gankun's divination virtue, which extends Gankun's divination virtue to the category of humanistic morality. This shows that Gan and Kun are the two most important hexagrams in Zhouyi, and they are also the basis of the philosophy of Yin and Yang in Zhouyi.

Gan Kun and Bi He, Yin and Yang are the Tao.

The beginning of Zhouyi is Gankun divination, which is of great significance. The copula says, "One yin and one yang are the Tao." Yin and Yang are the basic elements of the change of things, and Gan Kun is the general source and representative of Yin and Yang. The Book of Changes also said: "It is easy to have Tai Chi, and its meaning gives birth to two instruments, two instruments give birth to four elephants, and four elephants give birth to gossip, which will set good or bad luck and make good or bad luck a great cause." It means that under the interaction of Yin and Yang, the positioning of Gankun, the metaplasia of all things and the complicated changes of the universe are all based on the opening and closing of Gankun and the transformation of Yin and Yang. Confucius put forward in Cohesion that "Tai Chi gives birth to two devices, two devices give birth to four images, and four images give birth to eight diagrams", which is very similar to the cell division process of embryos and reveals the evolution process of everything from simple to complex. This is in line with Laozi's "Tao gives birth to one, life gives birth to two, life gives birth to three, and life gives birth to everything." Everything is negative and positive, and it is harmonious. " The process of cosmic metaplasia is very similar. Laozi's first is equivalent to Tai Chi, the second is two instruments (Yin and Yang), and the three are the sum of Yin and Yang. Confucius and Laozi have the same biochemical model of the universe, and both believe that Tai Chi gives birth to two devices (that is, one life and two devices) is the basic process of the occurrence and development of things (that is, acknowledging the contradiction of things), but expressing the changes of things from different angles. Confucius emphasized the formation of the eight diagrams and sixty-four hexagrams, that is, the multi-level change process of everything from simple to complex; Laozi emphasized that everything is born of yin and yang, that is, the process in which yin and yang are born, combined and constantly transformed into everything.

Regarding the origin and development of all things in the universe, western religions put forward the theory of God's creation. In the second and third sections of Genesis, it is recorded that God created the first man Adam and woman Eve from Adam's rib, so that they could live together in the Garden of Eden. Among the animals created by God, snakes lure them to eat forbidden fruits ... In the view of western religions, the fundamental driving force for the occurrence and development of all things in the universe is the role of the creator God. There is no concept of creator in Zhouyi, "fate means change", pointing out that change is the nature of all things in the universe, so it is Zhouyi, which means universal change. "Cohesion" said: "It is easy to have Tai Chi, which is the birth of two instruments". Taiji is the noumenon of the change of things. "Tai Chi moves to produce yang and static, and yin and movement and static are mutually rooted" (Zhou Dunyi's "Tai Chi Diagram"). Gankun and Yin and Yang are the fundamental and driving force for the development and change of all things. Zhouyi summarizes all the corresponding contradictory categories in the world with the interaction of Yin and Yang, such as Gan Kun, and reveals the universal law of things' changes. In Gan Kun Pu, the three-dimensional structure of Eight Diagrams fully shows the world view of Zhouyi. In Gankun Spectrum, the three-dimensional coordinates of Zhouyi Bagua are as follows:

Dry: x = 1, y = 1, z = 1.

Xun: x = 1, y = 1, z = 0.

Distance: x = 1, y = 0, z = 1.

Exchange: x = 0, y = 1, z = 1.

Earthquake: x = 0, y = 0, z = 1.

K: X = 0,Y = 1,Z = 0。

Gen: x = 1,y = 0,z = 0。

Kun: X = 0, Y = 0, Z = 0.

Gankun Spectrum explains the mathematical principles in Zhouyi and proves that Zhouyi contains certain scientific nature.

Development of numerology prediction

The people of China have performed brilliantly on the historical road of understanding life and measuring their destiny, with profound works such as Zhouyi, Liu Ren, Daoshu, Yuan Hai Zi Ping, San Hui and Ma Xiang, and magical figures such as Zhuge Liang and Liu Bowen. From the emperor to the general, from the people to the minions, they are eager to predict their own destiny.

Traditional prediction has a long history, and there are numerous records in ancient books, in which absurdity and wisdom, apriori and experience, confusion and sobriety, irrationality and rationality, sophistry and intelligence, secularity and mystery, humility and sublimity, obsession and detachment are often intertwined. However, after all, they have existed for thousands of years and still have vitality. We have to look for the reasons from the historical rationality of their existence and the regularity of their own development. Therefore, coincidence theory, probability theory, fuzzy theory and operational research are all topics involved in this aspect.

There are usually three methods for forecasting. One is to infer the development trend of things according to their external phenomena, such as image occupation. The other is a way to measure the inner nature of things through intuitive external images, such as faces. The other is the method of inferring things according to causality, that is, the method of comprehensively analyzing the relationship between the past, the present and the future.

Four-column prediction is a special prediction method, which is based on the change of yin and yang, the restraint of five elements and the time of birth.

Let's take a concrete look at the development of this method:

Four-column prediction is commonly known as fortune telling. Fortune-telling, as a popular culture, absorbs the essence of China traditional culture and applies it simply, thus making the mission theory take root in the hearts of Han people.

Fortune-telling is a folk skill formed by numerologists who comprehensively apply traditional culture, numerology and popular psychology. Because of the precision of people's thinking and the rich experience of calculus, fortune-telling has gradually formed a huge system, which is gradually complicated, so that only professional fortune-tellers can master it.

Because people are very concerned about their own future in their daily lives, and influenced by the dominant sense of destiny, people think that a person's wealth and poverty, good fortune and bad fortune, as well as life and death, gain and loss in and out, and even success in the examination room and profit in the shopping mall all depend on some force in the dark, which is fate.

Fortune telling can predict a person's fate and avoid misfortune, so more and more people believe in fortune telling. Therefore, as an ideology, it seems that no ancient thought can be as deeply rooted in people's hearts as fortune telling.
