Since the Qing Dynasty, the contents of books have been complete, and many of them have been carved in workshops. For this proofreading, the basic edition we chose was the Supplementary Complete Works of Marine Life of Xingpinghui published in the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939), written by Shi Yinben of Shanghai Zhangjin Bookstore, with exquisite engraving and clear pictures and texts.
