Jingyan Temple, located in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is a world-famous ancient temple. According to historical records, "it was built in the first year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (327): the residence of Xu Xi, a senior minister in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was built because of the night light, formerly known as" Lingguang Temple "; Qian Wen Mushiwang Lishanmen, named turtle because of digging, was changed to "Gui Ling Temple"; Song Xianggong years, given the "net rock temple". Jingyan Temple covers an area of 17 mu. Among the 54 temples in Jiaxing, it ranks first with Lengyan Temple. Emperors of past dynasties have given it plaques and collected hundreds of cultural relics. There are more than 1700 volumes and 10000 volumes of Buddhist scriptures in the sutra depository, which are the treasures of Buddhism.

There are many eminent monks in Jingyan Temple: Master Sangha in the Western Regions, Lingguang Temple in Zeng Zhuoxi, urging people to fish more crops; In the Tang Dynasty, Li Bai praised his achievements in the Sangha Song. Another monk, from Changshuitang, south of the city, surnamed Yu, entered the Buddhist scriptures at the age of 7. When he was weak, he went to ankokuji in Chang 'an to receive an anklet and learned the Tao of Ni Kun. 1 1 years later, he became a successful practitioner and returned from Buddhism. He invited scholars such as Lin to die at the age of 89. During the reign of Emperor Aidi God Blessed (907), there was a Haoduan mage from Xiuzhou County. At the age of 9, he entered Lingguang Jingshe to learn from the scriptures. Once he reviewed his old job, he was fully warned. Later, he wrote 10 Volume "Guang Jin Ming Jing Dao and Shi Wen Shi". In Lingguang, he found nothing, lived in a secluded place and sat on the only couch. In the second year of Song Dynasty (99), all the monks were Buddhist teachers. So when I went to Xiangfu to defend Han Yan, I asked the DPRK to change the dharma to Zen and to Shifang Temple.

During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the abbot Gui Cen was good at calligraphy and seal cutting, and specially went to Beijing to invite the dragon to hide in the temple and present it in the Tibetan Classics Pavilion. After generations of ups and downs, the Sutra Pavilion was rebuilt in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894). The word "Dragon Hidden" inscribed by Weng Shu Tong is now well preserved. In addition, there are 229 precious cultural relics in the collection.

In the 1920s, Master Hongyi, a generation of eminent monks and modern artists, came to Jingyan Temple to study and give lectures, and most bookmarks were collected by Hongyi.

Jiaxing Municipal Government approved 1994 to rebuild Jingyan Temple. Xinjingyan Temple is located at the end of Nanhu Lake, a famous scenic spot, surrounded by forests and beautiful environment. In fact, rebuilding Yan Temple is also one of the key projects in the comprehensive development of Nanhu Scenic Area. As a result, local government organizations, elders from all walks of life, religious believers and people with lofty ideals are compassionate and good at giving, and have made great achievements recently. All reconstruction projects have been basically completed, and Jingyan Temple has taken on a new look.
