Father is now addicted to earthly cause and effect, and regards Miss Zhao as a fairy. I want to persuade him, but I don't know how to prove that these are all false, or I can use the real Buddha. ...

Prove that the root of orthodox cults is the "four legacies";

(1) Not relying on people according to law: law refers to truth; Learning Buddhism should be based on truth, and everything should be done according to truth. People are unreliable, because people have different ideas, people are born and die, and the law (truth) is unchanged from ancient times to the present and will always be new. Study law, study law, practice law, all you want and do is law. Only by law can we enter the Tao. The key is the law. Ordinary people say that if it can be contracted to Buddhism, it should also be trusted and followed. If someone can appear as good as Buddha, but what he says is not the right way, he should also give up what he says and never rely on it. We seek good knowledge, not by his position. This is the authority of Buddhism, and that is the head of a Buddhist group. To listen to these titles, it depends on people. These should be ignored. We just want to see if his method is an opportunity. The Jue Yuan Classics tells us that if ordinary people want to be saints, they should first look for those who have insight. As the saying goes: "There are all beings, and their strength is endless, seeking good knowledge. If you want to practice, seek the right knowledge and meet people. " How to identify good knowledge? We should choose from his correct knowledge, not from other conditions ... Now some people like to walk around in various monasteries, socializing constantly, and finally they are surrounded by human feelings and cannot choose their true beliefs. I'm sorry. Therefore, the Buddha clearly pointed out that we should not rely on people according to law, that is, we should seek "faithfulness and faithfulness" according to the Buddha's teaching method, and we should not give up our faith because of the advantages and disadvantages of people, or just be followers of a certain temple or a certain monk, regardless of the whole Buddhism.

(2) Relying on wisdom instead of knowledge: wisdom refers to the wisdom of the universe without leakage, and knowledge refers to the consciousness of separation with leakage. Because the world is illusory, and the phenomenon that the six senses, such as eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and heart, distinguish and understand all the time changes with the illusory world, it is not thorough enough to distinguish and understand the world with knowledge. Among the eight senses of human beings, there is no problem with the knowledge of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and Araya, but the sixth and seventh senses are congenital defects. The sixth knowledge is to separate, and the seventh knowledge is to hold me tight. If you are a master according to the sixth sense and the seventh sense, it is to recognize a thief as a son. So it depends on wisdom. Prajna without leakage is the mirror wisdom of nature, just like a mirror, which can truly see everything in the world; For another example, when the light is bright, we can see our true colors. "Great Wisdom" said: "Wisdom is the virtue of inner light and can be compatible with law. Scholars should be determined to stop false knowledge and establish true wisdom. " Therefore, to learn Buddhism, we should not only "rely on wisdom rather than knowledge", but also further "turn knowledge into wisdom" so as not to be confused by secular illusions.

(3) Don't keep your words according to righteousness: Language and writing are the convenience for us to acquire knowledge and help us prove the truth. It is a pseudonym, a tool to explain the truth, not the ontology of the truth. In daily life, language can be a bridge between people, but it may also be misunderstood because it is taken out of context, or because of different languages and different expressions. The world law is still so, not to mention the subtle truth of Buddhism. Therefore, Zen advocates "don't write", and Master Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen, even said that "all Buddhas are wonderful and don't write". Subtle Buddhism and truth can't be expressed and conveyed by words alone. Therefore, to learn Buddhism, we should understand Buddhism from the perspective of righteousness, and we can't scrutinize, calculate and persist in language, otherwise it will cause obstacles in words and will only stay away from the Tao.

(4) Rely on righteousness and don't keep righteousness: "Baojijing" says: "If there are words in the scriptures, you will be tired of life and death, and you will be happy, you will not be righteous. If there is a declaration that there is no difference between life and death, it is righteousness. " Buddhism can be divided into secular truth and first righteousness truth. Secular truth is convenient law, and the first meaning is absolute truth. Convenient method is designed by the Buddha to adapt to the degree and root mechanism of all beings. We can't aim at the convenient method, but the most important thing is to correspond to the Buddha's heart. Therefore, learning Buddha should follow the heart of righteous Buddha, not rely on righteousness for convenience.

"Four thoughts" is a truth to learn from Buddhism and should be implemented. The Diamond Sutra says, "If you know what I said, like a raft metaphor, the Dharma should still be abandoned, let alone violated." The Buddha said various ways to help all living beings find their true Buddha nature, such as pointing at the moon. Therefore, when practicing Buddhism, it is necessary to "see the moon because of your fingers", and you must not cling to your fingers and cover your eyes to see the moon, wasting precious time.
