The main building is a wood-stone load-bearing structure, which has survived dozens of earthquakes since the Ming Dynasty and has become a specimen for modern people to study ancient architecture.

The main buildings of Chenghuang Temple include archway, gate, main hall, bell tower, drum tower and back hall, with a total area of more than 2,000 square meters.
