Gushan Gushan Temple reappears.

1993, with the approval of the government, the reconstruction of Gushan Temple with a history of thousands of years began. Master Xu Ming from Jingjiang, a disciple of Jing Hui, vice president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, shoulders the heavy responsibility of reconstruction. In the past 20 years, Zen Temple and Grand Temple, Guanyin Hall, Sambo Building and Infinite Light Hall, Shanmen Hall, Abbot Hall, Daxiong Hall, as well as Dharma Hall, Zhaitang Hall and Liao Fang have been built successively.

Nowadays, at the top of the lonely mountain, temples are towering, bells are ringing and cigarettes are lingering. This famous Buddhist temple in Jiangbei has been reborn.

Walking into Gushan Temple, you can feel the unique Buddhist culture of Gushan everywhere. The four Tathagata in the Daxiong Hall of Gushan Temple have different appearances. For example, a Tathagata in the south actually has a beard, which is a Tathagata statue in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. The giant Buddha in Luyuan in the east is the Tathagata statue of Asoka in India (273-232 BC). Integrating a group of Tathagata statues from different periods into a big hall can fully explain the designer's unique ingenuity in reconstruction.

It is worth mentioning that five natural stone statues of Bodhisattva are enshrined in the temple, which are made up of several different stones, but they are ingenious and lifelike. The unique Buddhist sculpture art of Gushan Temple is a treasure in the Buddhist culture of Gushan Temple.

Visiting the lonely mountain can not only enjoy a moment of peace, but also enjoy the highest scenery and long culture.

The square of Gushan Temple is engraved with 100 "Buddha" and 100 "goodness". These words were written by famous calligraphers and literati in ancient China. Monks intend to collect it here, indicating the author and source, so that people can understand the true meaning of "Buddha" and "goodness" in calligraphy when visiting temples, and experience the Buddhist culture in China from another angle.

Master Xu Ming attached great importance to the construction of temple culture. When the temple was rebuilt, the granite relief in Ming Dynasty and the stone pillar foundation of the temple in Qing Dynasty were excavated. To this end, he asked craftsmen to embed the relief into the back wall of the hall, while leaving the foundation of the stone pillar in place. At the same time, the wall of Gushan Temple is also engraved with many ancient poems praising Gushan from the Yuan Dynasty to the present.

Among them, Shen Kui, a doctor in Ming Dynasty, wrote in the poem "The Lonely Mountain in Autumn": The smoke is quiet and empty, and the clothes look at the bottom of the river. Gankun floats on an ancient island, and Wu Chu sends the mainland in the middle. Cup shadows scatter chrysanthemums beside rocks, and songs scatter Haimen autumn. It is today's fantasy that I met excellent people, and my wish is to stay in the clouds.

In addition, Wang, a famous writer in the Ming Dynasty, left "the land is as thin as a crane and the temple has a dragon" (Yougu Mountain); "When the old monk planted trees in front of the door, he once saw the tide mark and the trees were flat" (the lonely mountain plays the moon ten times), as well as "Buddha incense enters the temple" written by Xu Jian of the Ming Dynasty, "The temple gate turns over the sea, and the lonely mountain monk lies on his couch" written by Tong Pei of Zhejiang Province, and "The Biluo is a little quiet, looking back at the boundless moon" written by Cang Xue, a Zen master of Huayan Sect in the late Ming Dynasty. Cang Xue, the Zen master, was praised by Wang Shizhen as "the first monk in the three hundred years of Ming Dynasty".

These beautiful poems handed down from generation to generation have become a true portrayal of the heyday of Gushan Temple incense.
