Many villagers in the nearby village can't stand the evil monks bullying the temple, and the Buddha is humiliated. They had to report to the owner of the temple, Qishi Township, and all ethnic groups in Qishi Township were indignant when they learned that the presiding monk had damaged the gate illegally. In order to repair the Buddhist temple and avoid damaging the reputation of the village, they discussed the plan to eradicate evil monks. Knowing that the evil monk is skilled in martial arts and heavily guarded, he decided to let Wu Gongsheng, Chen Dunlong and Wu Zong enter the temple to outwit his virtue. Yiyi and Xiaomi Sha came down the mountain smartly, while Dunlong and Zongneng disguised themselves as pilgrims and went to the temple to worship Buddha. There is no doubt that they hosted Thornton's reception. Dunlong hit Thornton on the head with a censer. Thornton's eyes were hurt by incense ashes and he couldn't see clearly.
