The Honor of Wuchuan Floating Color Art

Guangdong Provincial Museum Collects Wu Chuan's Gone with the Wind.

Wuchuan floating color is one of the "three wonders" of Wuchuan folk art (floating color, clay sculpture and flower bridge), which has a long history and is famous far and near.

Wuchuan's annual Lantern Festival parade is a major brand of Wuchuan tourism and a business card of Wuchuan. In the Lantern Festival in 2006, Wuchuan City held the 2006 "Dinglong Cup" China (Wuchuan) water art performance. 32 teams from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Henan, Shaanxi, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Fujian, Chongqing, Guangxi, Hainan and other provinces, cities, autonomous regions and Wuchuan were among them.

"Wuchuan Piaose" was selected as the first representative list of intangible cultural heritage in the province.

In 2007, after full investigation and expert review by relevant departments, "Wuchuan Piaose" was approved to be selected as the first representative list of intangible cultural heritage in Guangdong Province, winning honor for Zhanjiang.
