The Historical Evolution of Tangkou Street

The town is named after the resident Tangkou Village. Before the Ming Dynasty, this village was called Xuguantun. In the early Ming Dynasty, surnames such as Liu, Wang, Ma and Du moved here from Hongtong County, Shanxi Province. Still use the old village name. Later, because Zhao Wanghe burst here, surnamed tang officials led civilian workers to gamble and burst, and the village was saved from flooding. The villagers were grateful for the kindness of surnamed tang officials, so they changed the name of the village to Tangjiakou as a souvenir, and later called Tangkou Town for short. 1949 belongs to the southwest of the third district of Jining county, and after 1949 belongs to the ninth district of Jiaxiang county, 1956 belongs to Jining county, 1958 established Tangkou commune, 1984 changed its name to Tangkou Township, and 1985 established the town. 1997, with an area of 122 square kilometers and a population of 84,000. It has jurisdiction over Tangkou, Hekou West, Hekou Middle, Hekou East (Hekou), Hekou East (panzhuang, Dingzhuang), Likou, Lukou, Chengzhuang, Caizhuang, Bao Zhuang, Mazhuang, Zhuang Ji, Xinzhuang, Danzhuang, Tianzhuang, Shizhuang, Kongzhuang, Guzhuang, Zhuang Lin, Lou Wei and southern Henan. Sixiahao, Sixiaxu, Qiantangwang, Houtangwang, Dongdong, Tang Cui, Daliudian, Xiaoliudian, Banbiandian, Jiangmiao, Zhumiao, Danmiao, Menglou, Qianchenlou, Houchenlou, Jingcun, fu cun, wucun, Poliwang, Yaoliuwang, Leek Ginger, Wazihan, Zhangzhai and Guannanli. On March 9, 2009, with the approval of the provincial government (Zi [2009] No.34), Tangkou Town, rencheng district City, Jining City was placed under the jurisdiction of the central district. 20 10 people were evacuated from the town and people were set up in the street.
