The Origin of chiping in Chiping County

"Chiping County", with the standard pronunciation of "Chípíng Xìan an", is located in Luxi Plain and now belongs to Liaocheng City, Shandong Province.

The past was a waste of time. Xia and Shang belong to Yanzhou, and Western Zhou belongs to Qi. After the establishment of the Qin Dynasty, the county system was implemented and Chiping County was established. Because the county seat is located in the "lonely mountain and flat land", it is named chiping, which means lonely mountain and surrounding flat land.
