There is no monthly allowance for 70-year-olds in Beijing. Subsidies are paid to the elderly aged 80 and above. Beijing's old-age subsidy policy stipulates that the elderly aged 80 to 89 can get a monthly subsidy of 100 yuan, and those over 90 can get a monthly 500 yuan. As for those above 100, 800 yuan and Hebei provinces can stipulate a monthly 200 yuan of over 90%. Beijing has indicated that it will give a subsidy of about 2 billion yuan to the disabled elderly. The amount of subsidy varies according to the degree of disability. Elderly people with hearing and speech disabilities can receive 200 yuan subsidy every month, elderly people with visual and physical disabilities can receive 400 yuan every month, and elderly people with multiple mental disabilities can receive 600 yuan every month.
