Baima Temple is located in Daling of Baima Temple.

Baimasi, a provincial cultural relics protection unit, is located in Baimasi Village, Hongyazigou Township, Huzhu Tu Autonomous County. The temple was built on the half cliff on the east side of Hongyazigou (Baima Temple Daling), facing Ping 'an Town across the Huangshui River, and Pingda Highway entered the territory. It is 25 kilometers away from Xining City and 50 kilometers away from Weiyuan Town, Huzhu County. It is a famous scenic spot of Song Dynasty cultural relics in Huzhu County.

Baima Temple was founded in the Eastern Han Dynasty (the post-Hongperiod of Tibetan Buddhism), also known as Jingangya Temple. It is named after a Buddha statue of King Kong on the cliff. Known as Mazang Temple in Tibetan, 1959 was listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit. The total area of Baima Temple is 45 16 square meters. The whole temple consists of a Buddhist temple, a monastery, a grotto, a Buddha statue of King Kong and a giant stupa. Because of its long history, Baima Temple enjoys a high reputation.

The structure of Baima Temple

Dajing Hall of Baima Temple: A three-story brick-wood building with white horse murals on the first floor, Guanyin Bodhisattva statue on the second floor and Lachin Gong Balous statue on the third floor. Kingkong Pavilion: Located at the lower left of Dajingtang, it is a mountain-leaning thing.

White Horse Temple Diamond Statue: 5 years old, seated, 3.7 meters high and 2.35 meters wide. The statue is simple and rough, with the bowl in the left hand and the bowl pushed by the right hand. There are many legends about the origin of the White Horse Temple. In the 12th year of Wanli of Ming Dynasty (1584), the third Dalai Lama went to You Ning Temple and other places and passed through here. It is said that when his mount died, he built a white horse in the temple, hence the name White Horse Temple.

This temple is the first Buddhist temple built by Amdo, similar to the White Horse Temple in Henan, hence its name. White Horse Temple, called Jingangya Temple, is a statue of the Buddha under the cliff, with its back against the dangerous peak and facing the Huangshui River. Looking ahead, the left hand holds the bowl and the right hand stretches forward, as if pushing the Huangshui River. Baima Temple, also known as Juehua Temple, was taken from Lachin Gongbarao, the originator of Tibetan Buddhism, where he "consciously" and "enlightened the masses". After the opening ceremony, he preached Buddhism and Taoism until his death.
