The writing method of Chinese character "Fu" is "point, horizontal left, horizontal hook, vertical, point, horizontal, vertical, horizontal folding, horizontal, vertical, horizontal folding, horizontal, vertical and horizontal".
Fu is a commonly used Chinese character, pronounced as fú, which first appeared in Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Shang Dynasty. Its ancient glyph is like offering a wine bottle to the sacrificial table with both hands, which means offering wine to the gods. The original meaning of blessing is blessing and blessing. Used as a noun, it refers to happiness and blessing, that is, "having a grandfather" in Shuo Wen Jie Zi, and later extended to wealth and longevity. "Fu" also refers to an ancient etiquette, also called "Wan Fu". Also refers to salute.
Extended data
The word "Fu" in Oracle Bone Inscriptions is "Stone" on the left, which looks like an altar and represents God. Next to the word "show" is the jar, that is, the word "unitary"; Oracle Bone Inscriptions sometimes writes about holding a jar with two hands. This is a knowing word. The whole glyph means to offer an altar of wine to the Lord of God and pray for all the best.
Chinese characters have developed to the stage of inscriptions on bronze, with various forms. First of all, Jin Wen doesn't have two hands to get wine. As shown in "Fu" in figure 1, the hand holding the jar is simplified, and the appearance of the jar has also changed. Adding a roof to "you" and "yes" may mean praying for God at home.
There are also some hieroglyphs that put "yes" under the jar; On both sides of the Western Zhou Dynasty, two people (namely "North") are added back to back as phonetic symbols of the word "Fu". In ancient times, the sounds of "Fu" and "Bei" were both words of "Bangniu" and "Bu", so "Bei" can be regarded as an additional phonetic symbol.
Xiao Zhuan inherited the glyph of Qin Dynasty. The jar wine became the word "fu", so "fu" became a pictophonetic character, meaning "yes" and "fu" as the sound. As far as the glyph structure is concerned, it is a sacrificial platform for offering sacrifices to gods, which means a pot full of wine, so it means both fullness and sound.
