Ceng Shiqiang studied the Book of Changes like this:

First, buy a relatively ordinary book, remember: it is not a vernacular version, but an ancient version, but it must be explained. Although different scholars have different interpretations of the Book of Changes, it will be easier for us to remember it after reading the explanation in the initial learning process.

Second, the second step is the most difficult and tiring step. After this step, the following study will be easy. There are sixty-four hexagrams in the Book of Changes. Make a good plan and memorize the hexagrams and characters of 64 hexagrams for a period of time. Don't be afraid, when you make up your mind and start to put it into action, you can do it, and you will have a little sense of accomplishment every time you recite a hexagram!

Third, after completing the arduous plan of the previous step, I will plunge into the sea of books and find some books reviewed by scholars or some novels involving Zhouyi. In the process of reading, don't blindly believe. At this time, you should have your own opinion, because different people have different explanations, and you can't blindly "follow the trend".

Fourth, find some relatively abstruse books to read, because you have achieved little at this time, and it will be helpful to read more books such as Daoism and Feng Shui.

The Book of Changes, one of the three changes (another point of view: the Book of Changes is three changes, not the Book of Changes), is one of the traditional classics, and it is said that it was written by Zhou Wenwang Jichang, including the Book of Changes and the Book of Changes. Classics are mainly composed of 64 hexagrams and 384 hexagrams, each of which has its own interpretation (hexagrams) for divination.
