Where does Nanying Site belong?

Nanying site is a cultural tourist attraction.

Nanying Site is located in the north of Nanying Community, Hongshiya Sub-district Office, with a total area of about 1 000 square meters. In August, 2005, Shandong Institute of Archaeology, Qingdao Institute of Archaeology and Huangdao District Cultural Relics Department jointly carried out archaeological excavations, and initially found out that this cultural site was more than 4,000 years ago from Longshan Cultural Period to Shang Dynasty 1000.

There is a semicircular trench in Nanying Cultural Site, with a residual depth of1~ 2m, a width of 3 ~10m and a total length of about100m. A large number of pottery fragments were left in the ditch. Two Shang Dynasty round kilns were found in the ditch, with a diameter of about 2.5 meters and a residual depth of less than 1 meter. A small amount of pottery fragments were found at the bottom of the kiln.

The upper part of this trench has been artificially leveled, and it is difficult to find out all of it. According to preliminary research, this ditch was artificially dug on the basis of a natural gully, and its function was to defend and drain water. There is a village in the trench, and the residents of the village continued until the Shang Dynasty.

Hongshiya Street: Hongshiya Street Office is located in the west bank of Jiaozhou Bay, north of Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, facing the old city of Qingdao across the sea in the east and Wangtai Town in Jiaonan City in the west. With a total area of 56.8 square kilometers, it governs 37 villages (residences). According to historical legend, since 1898, Shao Mingkui, Li Zhenyuan, Yi Hanchi, Yang Shoucan and others have come here from nearby villages such as Shaojia, Yang, Yijia and so on to do business and open stores. Since then, people have come here to do business and live. Residents come from two provinces and 24 counties. Because it is located in the sea cliff, the earth and stone are red, so it is named Hongshi Cliff. According to the Republic of China edition
