Fayuan Temple, formerly known as "Benjamin Temple", is located at No.7 Fayuan Temple Front Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. Founded in the 19th year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (645) and renamed Fayuan Temple in the 11th year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1735), it covers an area of 6,700 square meters and is one of the oldest famous temples in Beijing.
