Brief introduction of Murong Miao village

Murong Miao Village is Longbizui Village, and "Murong" is Miao language, which means "where there are dragons". Located at the junction of Jishou, Baojing and Guzhang counties (cities), it guards the main road from Dongting Lake area to the depths of the mountains in western Hunan, and is the resident of the "Magpie Camp", the starting point of the ancient South Great Wall. Murong Miao Village is the political, economic and cultural center of Murong Town, Guzhang County, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture. It is formed by the merger of Longbi Village, Mu Tong Village and Longbi Community. Murong Miao Village is divided into 1 community and 12 villagers' groups, including 8 natural villages such as Wagangzhai, Maoer Pavilion, Dazhai, Quetuo, Paijilou, Baiyanchong, Xinzhai and Tongmuzhai, with 7 18 households and 3,568 people. It is the most populous Miao village in Murong Town. Murong Miao Village has convenient transportation and rich waters. Liu Zhi Railway and Provincial Highway S229 cross the whole territory, and Jishou-Murong-Guzhang-Yongshun Expressway is expected to be completed by the end of 20 16. After opening to traffic, it takes only fifteen minutes for Murong Miao Village to go west to Jishou, forty-five minutes to go directly to Phoenix, and 1.5 hours to reach Zhangjiajie. Guzhang County is mountainous and sparsely populated. Tea cultivation began in the Tang Dynasty more than 65,438+0,000 years ago. Now, Guzhang Maojian, one of the three famous teas in Hunan, has long been famous at home and abroad, and Murong Miao Village is one of the important producing areas of Guzhang Maojian.
