Where does Longpo West Lake Temple belong?

Longpo West Lake Temple (West Lake Niangniang Temple) is a cultural tourist attraction.

From Haikou Ring Expressway to the right, there is a beautiful cold spring wetland hidden in the exit direction of Mission Hills Resort. This is the source of Meishe River in Haikou, and also the location of Longpo West Lake Temple (also known as Longpo Temple or West Lake Niangniang Temple), a cultural relic in Haikou.

After getting off the expressway and entering the auxiliary road for dozens of meters, you will see a volcanic rock with a height of more than half a person on the right hand side of the road, engraved with the words "Longpo West Lake Temple".

The wetland on the left of the intersection is the West Lake, and the water is very clear.

Poxihu Temple, with a total area of more than 20 mu, is slightly larger than a standard football field. Mainly composed of an independent temple, including the West Lake Wetland in front of the temple; Temple Square (parking lot); Yulong spring well; A stream; A volcanic stone bridge, and cultural relics and landscapes such as the "West Lake" archway. Although the scenic spot is not large, the surrounding plants are lush, graceful and full of aura under the perennial coverage of clear and sweet volcanic cold spring water (also called "Dragon Water" by locals). Soaking in "dragon water" can wash away urban dust; A sip of "dragon water" can purify your mind and make you forget the troubles in the world for a while. This is the feeling of "Xanadu" brought by Yongxing West Lake and Yulong Spring in Haikou.

Longpo Temple was built on the north bank of a stream formed by Yulong Spring. To visit the temple, you must pass a small stone bridge with three bridge opening. Like most stone bridges in Qiongbei, the main material used is volcanic rock. There are antique stone railings on the bridge and on the shore near the bridge deck. Many tourists like to stand on the shore overlooking the beautiful scenery of the West Lake. Qiongdao's unique volcanic wetland scenery, in the simple and cold mountains, is full of majestic atmosphere.

Longpo Temple consists of a temple gate, a main building with two entrances and a suspended mountain, and two horizontal rooms. The goddess of the West Lake, holding the morning glow and wearing a crown, is the main god here. There are two water gods, one black and one white, holding a green snake. In front of the incense burner in the atrium of the main hall, there is a stone pool of about 3 square meters. On the stone pool, there is a tablet inscribed by Zheng Yanque, a scholar of Ming Dynasty. There are two stone dragons embedded in the bottom of the pool. Two clear springs spit from the mouth of the stone dragon, then "turn back" from the culvert and flow to the West Lake in front of the temple through another stone dragon mouth.
