Why do you despise ancient singers?

There is a popular saying in China, "Bitches (also called prostitutes or prostitutes) are heartless, and actors (also called actors or actresses) are meaningless". It should belong to the practical summary of the people in their long-term life experience, just like oral ballad literature, it belongs to the collective creation of the people. Specific to which dynasty was created by whom, it can only be said that there is no textual research.

In the history of China's social development and ideological and cultural development for more than 2,500 years, "Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism" and "Confucianism, Taoism, Mohism, Legalism, Militarism, Miscellaneous Family, Famous Family, Yin and Yang Family and Peasant Family" are collectively called "Three Religions and Nine Streams", which are the core content and main foundation of China's traditional cultural system. Later, "Jiu Liu" gradually evolved into nine official identities, namely, emperor, scribe, official, doctor, monk, soldier, farmer, craftsman and businessman. However, people don't buy it. Starting from their own perspectives, values and priorities, they classified monks, Taoist priests, painters, practitioners, Mr. Feng Shui, fortune tellers, chefs, private school teachers and pharmacies as the "top nine". Put actresses, handmaids, prostitutes, beggars, villains, barbers, pawnbrokers, bathhouse owners and carpenters into the "lower class". Obviously, "prostitutes" and "actresses" are under the jurisdiction of "inferior". Another way is to combine "master, police officer, weighing, matchmaker, pawn, time demon (abduction, witch), thief, thief and prostitute" into "inferior", and "prostitute" is at the end of "inferior", and its status is hard to see.

In the old society, people were divided into three classes and six classes according to the long-standing popular theory of "nine streams merging" in ancient China, and the saying that "bitches are heartless and actors are meaningless" became popular. This actually means that "bitch" and "player" have no integrity in order to survive. This is a bit harsh and there is no lack of social prejudice. But to a certain extent, this is a "warning message" summed up by ordinary people over the years.
