Is there such a person as Guiguzi in history?

Guiguzi exists. Guiguzi was originally named Wang Xu, but he was a prominent figure who was active in the mid-Warring States period. It is one of the "hundred schools". Historical records show that the Huaxia nationality of Guiguzi had four flesh moles on their foreheads, which became a haunted house and founded Guiguzi Sect. He is the originator of strategists, a politician, a diplomat, a yin and yang expert, a prophet and an accomplished educator.

For more than 2,000 years, strategists respected him as a soldier saint, strategists respected him as a founder, fortune tellers respected him as a founder, and Taoism respected him as a Zen master.

A person has so many identities, which shows that his ability is by no means ordinary. He only went down the mountain once in his life, and he collected medicine and cultivated in the deep mountain canyon all the year round. He has never set foot directly in the world of mortals, but he knows the world under the mountain like the back of his hand, never leaving home, working in the deep mountains and winning battles thousands of miles away.

Guiguzi's work Guiguzi and the Seven Techniques of Yin Fu in this classic are both left behind, from which we can get a glimpse of the world-famous wizard's life. Guiguzi mainly records the essence of Guiguzi's lifelong learning and the strategy of strategists. "Stealth is better than fighting in vain"; Seven Methods of Yin Fu's Classic is an important classic of Taoism, which tells the methods of keeping in good health and cultivating the mind.

A great teacher makes a great apprentice, and the four disciples of Guiguzi are as charming and legendary as his teacher. They are the famous Sun Bin, Pang Juan, Su Qin and Zhang Yi in history.

Pang Juan and Sun Bin are both outstanding military strategists, and Sun Bin's book Sun Bin's Art of War is one of China's famous art of war. Su Qin and Zhang Yi were both famous militarists, diplomats and strategists during the Warring States Period.

Extended data:

There is a famous myth about guiguzi. Because he lives in Yunmengze, Chu, together with Yunmengze, he becomes a place where immortals live. The legendary Ghost Valley has also become a paradise, appearing in all kinds of fantasy Xianxia novels today.

Excluding these absurd figures, we can know that Guiguzi is so respected by history and has been famous for thousands of years. It is not without reason.

Wang Xu spent the first half of his life in various countries, and lived in seclusion in the mountains for the second half, specializing in mentoring and writing Guiguzi. He was the first person who had a great influence on later generations after Wang Jianli's surname. Judging from his behavior, he can be called the master planner behind the scenes during the Warring States period.

Ghost Valley is a place name, Zi, which is an ancient honorific title for a fighting man. Obviously, unlike hundreds of others, Guiguzi is the only one who refers to his name by place name instead of surname.

Because the official history did not give him a biography, compared with other schools of thought, his life story is so unpredictable that some people suspect that he is just a legend. Not only that, where Guiguzi came from, whether his surname is Wang, and whether Guiguzi wrote this book are all doubted by future generations.

However, both the Warring States Policy and Historical Records mentioned this man many times, affirming his superb wisdom in vertical and horizontal techniques, and mentioned that all-powerful military strategists such as Su Qin and Zhang Yi were his disciples.

As for unofficial history, the narrative is richer. As there is no historical evidence to prove that The Military School was written by a second person, Gui Guzi can be regarded as the sole founder of this school. In fact, most historians also believe that Guiguzi is a real person.

From the Spring and Autumn Period to the Warring States Period, Chu, where Wang Xu lived, has always been an enduring power, with rivers flowing freely and fertile fields enriching the people. Yunmengze, one of the "nine evils" in the pre-Qin period, has a territory of 900 miles. It's just a pity that in such a land of plenty, Wang Xu's luck is not good, and the king of Chu doesn't appreciate him at all. He had to make a living by divination, and by the way, he inspected social customs and human feelings.

Legend has it that he once hid in Yunmengze area or near Dongting Lake, which can be regarded as the first meditation in his life. I don't know how long it took, but Wang Xu ended his seclusion and went to Korea.

Wang Xu received a good reception in South Korea, and his diplomatic expertise also had a stage to play. After many twists and turns, this learned man finally began the only scenic years in his life. He often served as South Korea's diplomatic envoy to vassal countries, fighting for South Korea's interests.

He is good at recording the process of every activity, especially at summing up the resourceful strategies. So, over time, Wang Xu's thought of "Lian Heng's Vertical and Horizontal Studies" was formed.

With his talent, it should be regarded as a great history book. However, his indifference to life did not show. After retiring from secular disputes, he began to recruit disciples, teach academics, and hand over what he had learned all his life to all students in different categories. Among his students, anyone who learns from one of them will be angry and afraid of the princes, and the world will be destroyed.

It is said that his disciples are Su Qin, Yiyi, Sun Bin, Pang Juan, Chen Yi, Wei Liaozi, Mao Sui, Fan Ju and Xu Fu. This long list of names almost includes the most famous diplomats, strategists, lobbyists and alchemists in the Warring States period.

Facts have proved that the Ghost Valley School almost influenced the historical situation in the late Warring States period. Behind every great power in the Warring States period, there are guiguzi disciples.

When Pang Juan entered Wei, Wei swept the world and drank horses from the Central Plains. Sun Bin entered Wu, attacked Wu to strengthen Wei, and controlled Da Chu in the south, so that the two sides met. Needless to say, since Zhang Yi entered Qin and Zhao, there are also great notes in the history books.
