Basic situation of Guokeng Town

Guokeng Town is located in the northwest of longwen district, on the north bank of the downstream of Jiangbei Creek in Kowloon. The town covers an area of 36 square kilometers, governs 7 administrative villages, 2 community neighborhood committees, 1 town farm, and has a permanent population of 1.73 million. Yingtan-Xiamen railway, Zhangzhou (state) and Changsha (Thailand) highway transit. Guokeng Town is a satellite town approved by the provincial government and one of the pilot towns for comprehensive reform of small towns in Zhangzhou City. The town is located in the north of the jurisdiction, bordering jiao mei zhen, a Taiwanese investment zone in Zhangzhou in the east, Punan Town in xiangcheng district in the west, facing Chaoyang Town across Beixi in the south and Wu 'an Town in Changtai County in the north. The traffic is developed, and the cypress line in the suburbs of the province passes through the town; Waterway can go directly to Xiamen; Yingtan-Xiamen Railway runs through the town, and Zhangzhou East Railway Station is located in the town, which is the hub of passenger and cargo transportation between southern Fujian and southern Guangdong. There are two neighborhood committees in Guokeng Town, namely Xinjie and Railway, and seven village committees in Robin, Fuyong, Huang Qing, Hou Yuan, Guokeng, Xipu and Koushe.
