The original book of changes has nothing to do with the five elements. Why do you use five elements for divination now, instead of divination and rhetoric?

1. The Book of Changes and the Five Elements are simple materialistic understandings of the ancients. Eight images are used in gossip and five images are used in five elements. Only later generations unified these two understandings and called them "Yi Li's Five Elements", but they are actually two understandings. But they have something in common. It is composed of fortune tellers. It makes sense to use the location where Nine palace map and Wang Wen gossip. As for the words, I suggest you connect them. If we regard it as a process of development, only look at its image and experience it ourselves, we will always gain something! Think of it as a philosophy.

2. When it comes to the problem of "taking images with hexagrams", there is a saying that "benevolent people have different opinions, and wise people have different opinions". As far as I'm concerned, I don't believe in fortune telling, but all words mean elephant. As for how to explain them, it depends on our own understanding!

On the other hand, I suggest you look at the Book of Changes as a philosophical book. You will find that China people's thoughts come down in one continuous line, and all of them can find their roots in the Book of Changes.
