Brief introduction of Wuling town

Wuling Town is located in the southeast of Binyang County, bordering Zhonghua Town in the east, Gantang Town and Chenping Township in the south, LULU Town in the west and Da Qiao Town in the north. Town area 15 1.4 km2. It has jurisdiction over 13 village committees, 1 community committees and 104 natural villages with a total population of 57,500. The main ethnic groups living in the town are Zhuang and Han, of which the Han population accounts for 94%. Wuling Town is an important commodity distribution center in Binyang County with superior geographical location and convenient transportation and communication. Bingheng Highway passes through the abdomen, and the town government residence is 0/5km away from the county seat and 0/4km away from Guihai Expressway. It is only 10 miles from Nanwu second-class highway. 85% of the natural villages in the town have access to cars, and 14 village (community) committees have opened program-controlled and mobile phone services. Traditional handicrafts are relatively developed, with 6 professional villages, mainly engaged in horn handicrafts, hardware, furniture, steelyard, milling and so on. Horn craft series products can be called "craft products" in Binyang. Wuling Town, a natural resource, belongs to the south subtropical monsoon climate, with abundant sunshine, abundant rainfall and mild climate, which is very beneficial to agricultural production. Rich in rice, mung beans, sericulture, American raisins, star anise, lotus root, taro and tomato, among which the annual output of high-quality grain is 25.857 million kilograms. The forest area is 7624.5 hectares, and the forest volume is131kloc-0/75 cubic meters. There are more than ten kinds of wood such as Chinese fir, pine, eucalyptus and poplar. Rich in tourism resources, the natural landscape mainly includes Baiheguan and Taoyuan Reservoir Scenic Area.
