Such a beautiful weekend, not to get in touch with nature, a good rain all night is too disappointing. The old couple decided to go to Rizhao Reservoir to enjoy the simple pastoral scenery.

Rizhao reservoir is more than twenty miles away from the old city. Because it is located in Xihu Town, we used to call it Xihu Reservoir, also called Divination Pool (or Ancient Pool). Driving west along the provincial highway, from the intersection of Shenmazhuang to the southwest, the young crops on both sides of the road are more green because of the rain at night. Just entering the storage area, a stone tower with mottled skin stands on the right side of the road, and the words "Red Flag Electric Irrigation Station" are engraved on the tower. I got off and took a look. It was originally built in June of 1973, and it was hidden in a clump of green plants. If you don't look carefully, you will ignore the past.

The acacia on the roadside has already opened tea. Under the acacia tree, a solid dam spans the southeast of the reservoir, and the majestic spillway crouches on the wide spillway. The operating room is hidden in the shade.

Go ahead and you will find the reservoir memorial tower. Stop in the square in front of the tower and walk along the aisle. Lush pines and cypresses, like two rows of solemn soldiers, guide people to look up at the memorial tower against the blue sky and white clouds. Due to the erosion of years, the tower body of the memorial tower has been somewhat mottled. "Rizhao Reservoir" was inscribed by the famous calligrapher Mr. Shu Tong. Walking around the memorial tower, the quiet and fresh scenery of the reservoir is amazing. Rizhao Reservoir is actually a beautiful lake. The lake is quiet and quiet, and the green hills on the other side are rolling and quiet and charming. There is a small green island in the middle of the lake, which is exquisite and lovely. At the bottom of Rizhao Reservoir is the pre-sinking area, and the reservoir is surrounded by continuous shallow hills. The mountain torrents rushing down from the upper reaches of Futuan River rushed all the way here and turned back when they were blocked by the isolated mountain cliffs. The current is violent and turbulent, and with the passage of time, the impact is getting bigger and bigger. Every turn forms a deep pool, such as Divination Pool, Gu Jiangtan, Baogutan, Dashi Wang Tan, Xiaoshiwantan, etc. ). A long time ago, it was once the only place for businessmen to go east to Rizhao City, west to Huangdun and then to Juxian County. There are many shops, mule shops, oil mills and so on in the villages on both sides of the road, which is a very prosperous dry dock. Businessmen from all walks of life stopped here to express their opinions and were very lively. Businessmen from all over the world get together and bring many interesting stories and business information. Jianggutan is also famous for this.

Under the cliff of Gushan Mountain in the southeast of the reservoir is the famous divination pool, which is the deepest part of the reservoir. When the flood came, there were many whirlpools, and the locals called them "submerged children". According to legend, there is a very delicious fish in the pond, and the fish is rich in oil. If the fish's tail catches fire, it will burn all the way to the head. Until now, the fish in the divination pool are very attractive delicacies. In the past, many restaurants around the reservoir featured reservoir fish, attracting guests who came to seek peace and tranquility.

People were killed when the divination pool was flooded in the early years. Some people walk on a flat road and somehow get sucked into the flooded pool. Every year, people die in the pool, and ghosts come out to find body double. In order to suppress these evil spirits, the people, under the guidance of the gods, built a Taoist temple at the foot of the lonely mountain and invited Taoist priests to live there. The former site is where the reservoir memorial tower is now located. When a villager came to ask the Taoist priest to help him out of trouble, the Taoist priest prayed to God before drowning the child and used his magical power to predict good or bad luck. This is the name of the divination pool.

It is said that the divination pool leads to the East China Sea, and there is a fairy cave in the pool. The third prince of the Dragon King was imprisoned here because of his mistake, and a thousand-year-old turtle guarded the third prince here. Legend has it that someone once had the honor to visit the immortal's abode of fairies and immortals, only to see the splendor in the abode of fairies and immortals. Linlin Lang Lang, a rare thing, is a treasure hard to find in the world. The gods in the divination pool are also generous. The farmers around built houses, married daughters-in-law and held banquets. If they need to borrow some plates and cups, they just need to burn some toilet paper by the pool and ask the drowning child for it. Dishes and cups will gush out of the pool, and farmers will send them back when they have used them. Once, a greedy man secretly suffocated a jade bowl while returning vegetables. Later, someone came to borrow something, and it was useless, so the fairy family stopped borrowing it. People who don't keep their word are also disgusting.

This thousand-year-old turtle is very kind. It is said that an old man came home late to catch the sunshine party, and it was getting dark when he approached the divination pool. Tired from walking, the old man sat on the smooth threshing floor and smoked a bag of cigarettes. After getting up, he knocked on the pot of the pipe, cleaned it up and continued on his way. Not far away, I met an old man with a white beard. The old man complained to him, "You little brother, you were not careful when you knocked on the ash. Look, you burned a hole in my white coat. "

Old turtle often goes to the shore to bask in the sun, and every time he comes out, it brings windy and rainy weather. Over time, the local people regarded whether the old turtle came out to bask in the sun as a barometer. In the past, it was very hard for cultivators to carry water for farming. If it happens that there is a timely rain on the ground, crops will sprout together, and the survival rate will be high, which will save a lot of effort. It is said that a family near the pond saw the old turtle coming out to bask in the sun, thinking that it was going to rain soon, and quickly picked a ditch to plant sweet potatoes. Locals call this kind of farm work "planting sweet potatoes". After planting sweet potato seedlings, they left the soil nest without watering and waited for the old turtle to rain. As a result, it didn't rain for several days, and the sweet potato seedlings died because of the sun exposure. It seems that immortals are sometimes unreliable.

There is a folk story that an old tortoise in the divination pool drowned Jais in a rage. Legend has it that the county magistrate of Baya County had a son who came to the divination pool to see the mountains and waters. He saw pavilions in the pond and an embroidered building carved with beams and painted buildings. A stunning beauty in embroidered shoes in Xiulou, embroidered on the windowsill, makes the teenager look crazy. He quietly took this embroidered shoe home. Young frivolous, after returning home, he took out embroidered shoes to show off with his companions, who were shocked by the exquisite and beautiful embroidered shoes. The big guy encouraged him to steal another one so that he could pair up. As soon as the boy got hot, he went to the divination pool and stole another one. Who knows this time I was not so lucky and drowned in the pool. The county magistrate lost his beloved son, so he took revenge. He collected a lot of quicklime and poured it into the divination pool. At that time, all the fish, turtles, shrimps and crabs suffered, and all the turtles and grandchildren in the pool choked to death. In this way, the old turtle in the divination pool and the Baya county magistrate forged a hatred.

It is said that one day, an eight-ya businessman was doing business through Rizhao. When I arrived at the divination pool, it was already late, and I stayed at the inn of Shenqi. In the shop, I met an old man with a kind heart, and he came to stay. Seeing that the old man looks extraordinary and intends to make friends, the businessman made an appointment with the old man to eat and live together. When eating, the old man asked for five Jin of noodles, which filled a big bowl. The businessman could not help secretly surprised the old man's appetite. The old man told the businessman that he liked to eat alone. With a grain of salt, the businessman quietly broke enough paper out of the window and peeped into the house. This look was shocked. He saw an old turtle put his head into the basin and ate it with a swish! Knowing that the truth had been exposed, the old turtle told the businessman the truth, because the county magistrate had harmed his descendants, and the old turtle was going to take revenge in Yanbaya County. Businessmen are kind-hearted, so they intercede for the people of Baya. The old tortoise was moved by the merchant's kindness and told him to stay at home for a certain time and not to come out to see anything outside. The merchant remembered the old tortoise's words and told the villagers in Baya when he got home. That night, the people of Baya only heard the sound of wind and rain outside the door, and the flood was raging. Looking forward to the dawn, the businessman walked out of the house and saw the county gate closed from a distance. The flood in the city has been shining on the wall, but it has not overflowed outside the city at all.

The strange story about the divination pool was spread by folk artists and brought to all directions by businessmen coming and going, and the divination pool was also famous for it. The turtles in the pond are regarded as gods by the local people, and no one dares to touch them easily.

How many spring and autumn cycles did the legendary immortal live in the divination pool? I saw flowers bloom and flowers fall, and Yan returned to Yan. Every year, Budivining Pool is flooded, and the residents around the pool suffer greatly. The gods failed to manage this great river and mountain. Until the founding of New China, the Party and the government were concerned about people's sufferings. Now the road around the lake has been built, and the surrounding areas of the reservoir area have been returned to forests, and various seedlings, flowers and fruits have been planted along the way to beautify and purify the environment of the reservoir area. Today, the reservoir area has taken on a brand-new look. The upstream of the reservoir area is the Flower Fairy Scenic Area, a wetland park that has begun to take shape. Green hills and beautiful waters are lined with blue sky and white clouds, and every landscape falls into the eye with a strong poetic feeling. Driving on the highway around the lake, the lake is sparkling and crystal clear, with lush flowers and trees on the shore, seagulls and herons playing in the water, and clouds surrounding the mountains.
