Where does Jingyang rice come from?

Jingyang rice producing area is located in Jingyang Town, Jianshi County, Hubei Province.

This area is located in the 800-mile Qingjiang River, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with deep mountains and unique sunshine conditions. Jingyang rice soil is cold river field, and only one season of rice can be planted in a year, which belongs to low-yield field. Jingyang rice is produced in the north bank of Qingjiang River in Jingyang Town, south of Jianshi County, and mainly concentrated in Dashuyan Village and Dali Village in the middle reaches of Qingjiang River with an altitude of 1600 meters.
