The ancient city of Langzhong is surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on one side, with beautiful scenery. It has been known as "Fairyland in Yuen Long" since ancient times and has a history of more than 2,300 years. It was the capital of Pakistan in the middle of the Warring States Period.

There are eight national key cultural relics protection units in Langzhong Ancient City, including Zhangfei Temple, Ai 'an Temple, Wulong Temple, Wangtengting, Kannonji, Babao Temple, Giant Buddha Temple and Gong Yuan, Sichuan North Road.

2. Langzhong Ancient City-Hanhuan Houci

brief introduction

Huanhou Ancestral Hall of Han Dynasty, commonly known as Zhangfei Temple, is the center of the Xicheng scenic spot in Langzhong ancient city and a pearl on the cultural tourism line of the Three Kingdoms.

Zhang Fei Temple was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. After two reconstructions, in addition to sorting out the surviving cultural relics, some famous literati also re-inscribed the couplets of Zhang Fei Temple.

Because of being in the ancient city, the surrounding environment still has a strong ancient city atmosphere. Zhang Fei Temple is on the left. If tourists are lucky, they can also buy noodles from Langzhong folk artist Ma Bin.

Turn left in Zhangfei Temple, and you can go to Hayes Building through West Street, which has the same name as the building mentioned by Su Shi. On the right is the national key middle school Langzhong Middle School, where you can enjoy contemporary education and culture.

3. Zhongtian Building

brief introduction

Zhongtian Building, also known as Sipailou, is a high-rise building built in the Tang Dynasty with a three-story wooden structure in the architectural style of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it is one of the twelve floors in Yuen Long.

The streets of the ancient city spread in all directions with this as the center, which is the geomantic coordinate of the ancient city.

The Zhongtian Building has three floors and four doors, and its beauty can be appreciated from all directions of the ancient city. Climbing to the roof, you can have a panoramic view of the feng shui pattern of the ancient city.

4. Langzhong Gong Yuan

brief introduction

In the Qing Dynasty, Xuedao Street in the city rebuilt the test shed, which was originally composed of the mountain gate, the cloister, the examination room, the main hall, the second hall, the back hall and the examinee dormitory. The whole Hiram's Hospital has been well protected so far, and it is one of the only two experimental sheds in China.

There is a roll shed corridor with a total length of more than 50 meters, and there are flying fairy chairs on the wooden fences on both sides of the corridor. The left and right rows of examination rooms are separated by carvings. The front yard is the examination room, the back yard is the study, and there are rooms all around.

The exam is numbered according to heaven, earth, Xuan and Huang, and each room has an entrance and exit. The main hall opposite the gate is the lobby on the first floor, where examiners call the roll, distribute papers and invigilate.

Every day at 8:30 a.m. and at 15:00 p.m., Hiram's Hospital will arrange a visit to the ancient imperial examinations, and the registration fee will be around 20 yuan.

5. Jinping Scenic Area

Jinping Mountain was named Jinping Mountain by Emperor Kangxi because of its beautiful scenery and picturesque pictures. There are many historical sites here, which is the birthplace of ancient Haizhou civilization.

There are mainly Kongwang Mountain, Taohuajian Paleolithic Site and Neolithic General Cliff primitive rock paintings in the scenic area, which are known as "Fairyland in Yuen Long" and "the first mountain in the world".

It is also a good place for residents to relax and exercise on weekends. Standing on the top of the mountain can overlook the panoramic view of Langzhong ancient city.

Jinping is located in Langnan Bridge Street in the southern suburb of Langzhong City, and the scenic spot is close to Jialing River.

Car: There are two bus stops in Langzhong, one in the new city and the other in the old city. If you are at the No.89 bus stop in the old city, take the No.5 bus to Panda Paradise and get off at Jinping Park. You can take a taxi in Xincheng, and the starting price will be there.

Cruise: You can take a boat at Huaguang Building and sit opposite Jinping Mountain.

6. Huaguang Building

Langzhong Huaguang Building, also known as "Zhenjiang Gu Lou", is the earliest and most magnificent building in the existing pavilions of Langzhong ancient city. It is called "the first building of Yuen Long" and is a landmark building of Langzhong ancient city.

The building is a street-facing building, built on a 5-meter-high stone platform with a 36-meter-high roof and three double eaves. Standing in the north of Huaguang Building, you can get a panoramic view of Danqing City Wall and Jialing Landscape.
