Lv Dongbin, formerly known as (or, Yan), whose name is Dong Bin, whose name is Chun Yoko, and whose other name is Answer, was born in Zhaoxianli, Yongle County, Hezhongfu, Zhou Pu (now Zhaoxian Village, Yongle County, Ruicheng County, Shanxi Province) in the 12th year of Tang Dezong, and is one of the famous Taoist immortals. At the same time, it is also the god of dreams, scientific research, stationery, gold panning and hairdressing, and it also has the nature of medical god, Wu Shen and God of Wealth.

Generally speaking, Lv Dongbin is said to be the grandson of Lv Zhi, assistant minister of rites in Tang Dynasty (note: his grandfather Lv Zhi was born in 734 A.D., so there is a serious mistake in this passage), and his father Lv Zhen is the secretariat of Haizhou. His real name is Rarely. Emperor Taizong was born in Yongle County (now Ruicheng, Shanxi Province) on April 14th in the 20th year of Zhenguan (AD 646). I have been good at reading since I was a child. There are hundreds of profound scholars, but Sancai is not the first one.

Wu Zetian was gifted for two years (AD 69 1). At the age of forty-six, Lu went to Chang 'an to take the exam, and met an envoy in the restaurant. Zhong Liquan asked him to dream of becoming famous, making a fortune and sealing his wife's shadow. When he woke up, he realized that fame and fortune were all dreams, so he realized that he worshipped Zhong Liquan as a teacher and went to Zhong Nanshan to study. He changed his name and became Dong Bin. Later, he traveled all over the mountains and rivers, preaching and teaching, and returned to Lushan at the age of 53. At the age of 64, he went to court and became the jade emperor, giving him the title of pure Yoko.

Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, He, Han Zhongli, Lan Caihe, Zhang, He Xiangu, Han Xiangzi and Cao Guojiu have been called "Eight Cave Immortals" together. Among folk beliefs, he is the most famous of the Eight Immortals, and also the most legendary. He was born in a bureaucratic family for generations, and his ancestors were officials in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Lv Dongbin has been familiar with classical literature since childhood. Some people say that he was a scholar in the first year of Tang Bao calendar (AD 825) and worked as a local official.

Later, because he was tired of the troubled times of the mutiny, he abandoned the fame and fortune in the world and took his wife to practice in Jiufeng Mountain on Zhongtiao Mountain. He and his wife each lived in a pit, so they changed their names to Lv Dongbin. "Lu" refers to a couple, and the two are Lu; "Cave" is a cave where people live; "Bin" means to tell people that he is a guest in the cave and his road number is Chunyangzi.

Before he abandoned his post and left, he extended his kind hand to the poor and did many good things for the people. According to folklore, during his practice, he met the immortal Zhong Liquan and worshipped him as a teacher. After the success of cultivating immortals, he went down the mountain to treat the people and never asked for any reward. Lv Dongbin was a philanthropist all his life, helping the poor and winning people's admiration. After his successful official career, people in his hometown built the "Lv Gong Temple" as a memorial for him.

In the Jin Dynasty, because Lv Dongbin believed in Taoism, he changed the name of "Temple" to "Guan". At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, Kublai Khan knew that Taoism was very popular among the masses, so he wanted to use the popularity of religion and Lv Dongbin to consolidate his rule, and sent Qiu Chuji, a Buddhist, to be in charge of Taoism, to demolish Lu and build the Yongle Palace.

It took 1 10 years from the construction of Daxiong Hall to the drawing of murals in several halls, almost the same as the whole Yuan Dynasty. Lv Dongbin was originally a little-known ordinary figure, but in the long-term folk circulation, like snowballing, the story became more and more rich and became a legend of arrows.

At the beginning of Southern Song Dynasty, Wu Zeng wrote "Autobiography of Lv Zu" Volume 18. It is said that Lv Dongbin once said to himself, "It is said that I fly a sword to get a man's head, and I am arrogant. In fact, there are three swords, one is the worry of the ignorant, the other is the anger of the ignorant, and the third is the greed of the ignorant. "
