Why is Wudang Mountain so long?

There are so many Taoist priests in Wudang Mountain for the following reasons:

1, historical reasons. Wudang Mountain has been an important gathering place of Taoism since ancient times. Some famous Taoist sages, such as Zhenwu Emperor and Quanzhen Patriarch, once taught and practiced here, so many Taoists and sects stayed here.

2. The tradition of monasticism. Taoist monasticism requires individuals to meditate alone in a relatively independent natural environment, while Wudang Mountain has a beautiful environment and beautiful scenery, which is suitable for Taoist monasticism, thus attracting many Taoists.

3. Settlement system. The settlement system adopted by Taoism in Wudang Mountain has also created the existence of many Taoist priests.
