Fushan County is located in the south of Shanxi Province, at the southern foot of Taiyue Mountain, on the eastern edge of Linfen Basin, with Linfen and Xiangfen in the west, Yicheng in the south, Anze in the east, Qinshui in the southeast and Guxian in the north. It covers an area of 946 square kilometers, governs 2 towns, 13 townships, and has a population of 120700. The county government is located in Chengguan Town.
