First of all, things and reason are harmonious.
From Buddhism in China to Xuanzang's massive translation of Buddhist scriptures in the Tang Dynasty, the whole Buddhist community prevailed in learning Buddhism, which led ordinary Buddhists to look for a few ink strokes, bow their heads in poverty, be trapped in righteousness all their lives, wander across the sea and forget to return, get lost, and practice Buddhism, without any corresponding points. After the middle Tang Dynasty, Zen spread from south to north. Zen is known as "teaching others, not writing, pointing directly at people's hearts and treating nature as Buddha", which is a revolution against this drawback. All the teachers in the school reprimand the teachers who study teaching methods, because Zen first emphasizes people and takes the revision of certificates as the first priority. If you practice well, you can naturally manage the realm of tact.
Later generations who directly seek to practice meditation are more concerned with establishing a foothold under the cultivation of roots and refusing to practice meditation in depth, but refusing to confirm it. If less is enough, they think it is right and flaunt themselves. However, people who generally study teachings and have a superficial understanding of them say that the clarity of Zen is heresy and they have no knowledge of themselves. The two sides held their own words, which separated the relationship between reason and things and made great mistakes. Up to now, there are four schools of Buddhist monks and customs. Many people flaunt their practice, especially ordinary Buddhist scholars, who feel that Buddhism is on their side, while Buddhist scholars challenge them with the true evidence of practice. The result is a gap between learning and teaching, which is extremely unfavorable to the future development of Buddhism. Mr. nan huaijin's basic views on Buddhist principles and things can dispel all kinds of paranoid views.
Mr. Nan believes that the highest purpose of all religions, philosophies and even sciences is to pursue the truth of life and the universe. But the truth must be absolute, true and not empty, and it can only be obtained by thinking and verifying with wisdom. [1] Buddhism is such a truth. Where there is this truth in any Buddhist theory, there must be such a thing, that is, the unity of reason and reason. [2] Everything that Buddhists say about metaphysics and the knowledge and noumenon of everything in the world can be proved by experiments in everyone's physical and mental life, and evidence can be obtained. This is not just an ideological debate. [3] Therefore, Nan often emphasizes that Buddhism is actually one of the great experiments of super science and philosophy.
There must be a way to do cloud experiments. Buddhism teaches people, from ordinary people to Buddhism, giving priority to teaching, reasoning, behavior and fruit. Teaching must be strengthened by listening more, reasoning must be solved by thinking, and the result must be proved by cultivating wisdom. [4] Therefore, people who study Buddhism should take the integration of knowledge and practice and strive to revise their certificates. Although there are differences in entry methods, "everyone should choose good and stubborn, and go deep into people from one door." Can you use it as a pillar and make people useless as a ladder? " [5]
However, with the evolution of the times, Buddhism's profound metaphysical theory and practical methods of practice and verification have developed many religious forms and dogmas. In this case, Zen Buddhism, which has got rid of the traditional restrictions, stands out and directly seeks the liberation of great wisdom and absolute freedom from the premise of pure idealism-"the mind can change things". Only the spirit of Zen Buddhism and the method of verification can truly make people get rid of the trouble of material desire and achieve the true sublimation of spirit and soul. This should be a wonderful anti-inflammatory and refreshing medicine for today's world where human beings are confused by material civilization and rationality is submerged by human desires. [6] Nan further pointed out that today's Buddhism has not stopped at the level of Buddhism and philosophy in the nineteenth century, but has moved towards a new trend of combining Buddhism and science. [7] When talking about how to learn Zen, he clearly stated: "In the era of science, we should learn Zen scientifically and analyze our own psychology clearly. The more advanced science is today, the more helpful it is for us to learn Buddhism and Taoism. " [8] However, people who generally study Buddhism tend to think highly of Buddhism and cannot give due attention to science. That's pathetic!
In a word, Buddhism is a religion with profound philosophical theory and scientific experiments. His philosophical theory often goes beyond the religious category, and his scientific empirical method is to verify the universe from the perspective of life standard. His philosophy is based on science to deny narrow religion; Its science is to prove religion with philosophical arguments. [9] Buddhist scholars often only pay attention to the exploration of Buddhist philosophical theory, and the empirical aspect is relatively lacking; Buddhist believers are mostly limited by religious feelings. Although they are interested in practicing the certificate, their spirit is commendable, but their scientific spirit and literacy are insufficient, so it is difficult to make a difference in practicing the certificate. In the modern era of scientific development, it is really impossible to make people respect. In view of the current situation, people of insight should study Buddhist scriptures intensively, tap the rich treasure of this knowledge and test it physically and mentally. On this basis, they can explain the philosophy of Buddhism and introduce its scientific correction methods, so as to stand on their own feet and benefit mankind.
Second, the trinity of seeing, repairing and doing
The truth of Buddhism can and must be obtained through personal practice. It can be said that practicing Buddhism is the only thrill of Buddhism. However, in today's Buddhism in China, there are many reasoners and few practitioners, and many distorted theories are produced due to the lack of practitioners. This is an extremely terrible crisis of self-destruction, so we should seriously revise our concepts, quickly examine ourselves and prove ourselves [10]. If you want to take the road of spiritual practice, you must first establish your mind, seek Buddha and Tao, come down to earth, and never retreat without Bodhi. Therefore, learning Buddhism is a matter for gentlemen, which is beyond the power of emperors and generals. Secondly, we should be broad-minded, knowledgeable, poor in all kinds of theories, and travel all over the world, and then we can learn riding precepts by ourselves and become a musical instrument of our own. Nanba integrates all the principles and things of Buddhist practice with three programs: enlightenment, action and wish. Insight is reason; This is a problem, I hope a peer practice certificate. According to Buddhist idioms, it is "this matter." According to Zen, it is function, which is also commonly known as kung fu. Buddhism is a combination of directors, so the trinity of sight, action and practice is indispensable. [ 12]
Epiphany is China's Buddhist concept, and Zen calls it "epiphany", which means having insight. [13] The real epiphany is not an ordinary epiphany, but seeing the "truth", which is the so-called "truth". If you really see the truth, the subsequent modifications and wishes will be successful. [14] So Buddhist scriptures only talk about the principle of epiphany. The real epiphany has arrived, and kung fu will definitely arrive. In other words, you have seen it, but your kung fu has not arrived. This view is incorrect. [ 15]
Wishing is to correct one's psychological behavior. [16] To correct psychology, we must work hard on psychological knots. To what extent the psychological knot frees you, you get what fruit position, which is the difference of fruit position. [17] If you want to do something, "doing" is really insightful. I can't. It's no use reading it. [18] At this point of the trip, the epiphany was complete and the kung fu blossomed. The ancients proved many fruits, that is, they made a wish. [19] Therefore, the real practice is to realize one's wishes, that is, to completely correct one's mental behavior, which is a life theme that a yogi must always pursue to achieve. [20] The so-called "all sentient beings do their things, and I am willing to do it" is a true portrayal of Bodhisattva's wishes.
The three cardinal principles of Buddhist practice are closely related to the "three-body achievement" mentioned in Buddhism. Yongjia Zen master, combining the essence of Tiantai Sect and Zen Buddhism, clearly pointed out that from ordinary people to Buddhism, it is necessary to achieve "three-body achievement"-dharma body, body report and incarnation perfection. Three-body theory has different explanations. Nan huaijin said that Dharma Body is Dharma Body, and Put Lolerk, like all sentient beings, hides the nature of Tathagata (that is, noumenon), proves Dharma Body, breaks morality, and can break all troubles and habits. Self-help is also called self-help. For example, our body is born from ignorance, and it is self-nature. [2 1] Enlightenment becomes self-nature, five magical powers, perfect wisdom and five wonderful uses. Tao becomes flesh, conforms to the mechanism of all beings, incarnates tens of billions for all beings and educates all beings.
Nan huaijin believes that "epiphany is dharma body; When the certificate is modified, report it; When a wish comes, it is the incarnation. All three are in one thought. " [22] Once you figure it out, your mind can reverse Gan Kun, you can succeed in this life, and you can successfully achieve the three-body. However, the Buddha said that from an ordinary man to a Buddha, it must be robbed by three great monks (extremely long), and it is difficult to become a Buddha in this life. Why do you say "three bodies and one heart"? He explained: Buddha said amitabha, which can kill 8 billion people who snatch life and death. He often praises Ding De, which is the advantage of a jungle and can eliminate many robberies. After the re-cloud, "the fate is uncertain." There is another cloud: the status is interoperable, such as "the first place is ten." The Buddha said that time, space and other methods are the connotation of mental method. If the mind is focused and sincere, that's what I can't do, and I can do it safely! [23] This "between thoughts" refers to the immediate realization of the Tathagata's hidden sincerity, which completely endows the law, newspaper and culture.
