Although the name is overbearing, it really loses the heart of the world. "At that time, I was young and confused. What's wrong with benevolence? Why is the benevolence of "woman" wrong? How can a person who cries because of the pain of others be a butcher? How can a loving person lose the heart of the world? In the end, it can only be summed up as: "kindness" is false, and Xiang Yu is simply a cruel person.
Later, I gradually realized that Xiang Yu's tears were not necessarily false. Human nature is strange. A person who mourns the death of a puppy or kitten may be a demon who kills people without blinking an eye. China culture has always lacked universal reverence for life itself, and it is easier to determine the value of life by likes and dislikes. Although a guy like Xiang Bo has ulterior motives, this statement is true: threatening Liu Bang with his family's life is useless. However, Liu Bangjin entered Chang 'an, but he knew how to pacify the people by "three chapters of the law". He who wins the world also knows that "he shares interest with the people." This is by no means that he loves the people more than his son, but the choice of maximizing interests.

Wuqi is not a "benevolent". After her mother died, she couldn't go home because she could kill her wife to lead the troops. He sucked gangrene for soldiers, and seemed to care for his subordinates just like Xiang Yu's "crying". In fact, Xiang Yu cried in vain, and he was reluctant to reward his work, which caused resentment. How can this little kindness be appeased? The mother of foot soldiers, with the wisdom of growing up in blood and tears, understands that Wuqi's gangrene is not a waste, but a life to pay.
The essence of Confucianism lies in "courtesy" and "benevolence". "Rite" is the institutional framework and "benevolence" is the spiritual core. For those in power, "benevolence" is not only the feeling of "benevolence", but also the art of "benevolent governance". "Benevolence" is used to buy people's hearts, and it is worthless if you can't buy people's hearts. If you get the wrong idea and talk about "benevolence" in a daze, that's bad. When Liu was a prince, he said in a conversation that his father's punishment was too deep and he wanted to use Confucian scholars. Xuan Di changed his face and said, "The Han family has its own system, which is based on the hegemony of Taoism. Why should moral education be used instead of Zhou politics? " He severely reprimanded the Confucian scholars and lamented: "The prince is also a mess in my family!" -It's clear. This is not the fault of Confucianism, but the fault of Confucian scholars. Political rule, coupled with punishment, is indispensable.
However, on the other hand, in the absence of an effective restraint mechanism, social stability depends on the ruler's concept of governing the country. Implementing "benevolent government", regardless of its motivation, is a concession to the ruled, and relatively speaking, the people get more benefits. Even if Liu Bang is a rogue and Xiang Yu is a noble, it is better than Xiang Yu falling into Liu Bang's hands. Tai Shigong knows this well, so in character, he faintly praised Xiang Yu; But to rule the world, he thinks Liu Bangqiang is better.
