Fuyang's natural resources

Fuyang has coal mines, iron mines, limestone mines and marble mines. During the Permian period from 270 million to 240 million years ago, a shallow-sea facies-continental sandstone shale coal-bearing structure was formed in Fuyang City. The proven underground coal reserves are 4.693 billion tons, including 956 million tons of industrial coal reserves, mainly distributed in Yingshang County.

Only the iron ore 1 is found, which is located in the Taobazi area at the southwest of Yingshang County 18km, belonging to Huoqiu Iron Mine.

An extension of the mine. The ore body occurs in the pre-Sinian metamorphic rock series and is a sedimentary metamorphic iron ore. The coal reserves of Fuyang City are 654.38+00 billion tons, and the recoverable reserves are more than 8 billion tons, all of which are high-quality coal, about 5,700 kcal.

Liu Zhuang Coal Mine and Xie Qiao Coal Mine invested by SDIC Xinjikou Zidong Mine have an annual output of more than 8 million tons, of which Liu Zhuang Coal Mine has two firsts: it is known as the first pair of digital mines in China; The "first well tower in Asia" with a height of 90.8 meters. Fuyang is nearly 60 square kilometers underground and is also rich in geothermal resources. Geothermal wells that have been developed and utilized in Taihe County and Funan County have a water output of more than 500 tons per day and a water temperature of 40 ~ 50℃, which are rich in compounds and trace elements beneficial to human body.
