Taiyi point, also known as Taiyi, produced the classics of acupuncture. The original meaning is the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty. In ancient times, Taiyi lived in Polaris. Records of the Historian Tianguan Book: "The celestial pole star of the middle official, one of which is Ming, often lives in Taiyi." Point in the upper abdomen, close to Shu Tian (named after the big dipper), hence the name.

After the water-wet cloud gas reaches this point, due to the effect of heat outside the abdomen, the water-wet gas expands and spreads, forming a strong air mass running horizontally, so the point is named Taiyi. The meaning of the name Taiyi is the same as Taiyi, and Yiti is the same as Taiyi.
