The origin of divination

The earliest divination was the eight diagrams drawn by Fuxi according to the map of the Luohe River in Malong (that is, an eight-year-old old horse beside the Luohe River in Luoyang, whose pattern "En" inspired Fuxi). According to the pattern, Zhou Wenwang "Ji Chang" was placed under house arrest by Shang Zhouwang at the time of singing, and Fuxi's gossip was improved, that is, the acquired gossip, because innate gossip could not adapt to everything later, so it was based on something. In fact, this is not superstition, the reason is very simple, that is, it needs to be studied with heart. For example, they are all farmhouses, and they should be divided into grains. Different areas should be planted at different times, and the harvest season is different. The bookmakers planted by colleagues in the same place are also different. Divination, as the earliest means for primitive ancestors to understand nature and human beings, appeared in the Neolithic Age of primitive society in China. Judging from the archaeological discoveries, comprehensive literature records, historical remains, folk information and legends at home and abroad, the earliest divination and divination activities in the world should have originated from Tianshui, a famous historical and cultural city in China. In Tianshui, people discovered the earliest Oracle bones in the world. The archaeological site of Fujiamen excavated in Tianshui is estimated to be about 5600-6000 years ago. Six precious Oracle bones were unearthed in the rare sacrificial pit excavated by it, which can be said to be the earliest Oracle bones in the world. From the bone of Oracle bones, it belongs to the scapula of cattle, pigs and sheep; From the physical point of view, bone therapy is relatively simple. The symbols on it are all carved with stone pointed instruments, and the symbols such as "I, II, S" on it are similar to the Yin-Yang Taiji diagram in the eight diagrams. Seen from the back of Oracle Bone Inscriptions, there are obvious burnt marks, which can be concluded to be the physical objects left by people in divination and sacrificial activities at that time. It is not only the direct evidence of divination of primitive ancestors in China, but also the strong evidence that Fuxi founded the "innate gossip" archaeology in Tianshui. Fuxi's "Begining to Draw Eight Diagrams" is recorded in many ancient books in China. The Book of Changes: Ancestral Generation "The ancients sacrificed (Fuxi) the king of the world, looked up at the heaven and the earth, observed the culture of birds and beasts and the suitability of the earth, and took the proximity of everything, so they started gossip to clarify the virtue of the gods and the feelings of all things." "Preface to Historical Records Taishi Gong" "Fu (Fuxi) is fine and thick, which is easy to gossip". Therefore, Fu is called "the God of Divination". Joseph Needham, a British historian of science, wrote in Leibniz and Zhouyi that people think that Fuxi's sequence diagram of sixty-four hexagrams played a vital role in the enlightenment of binary numbers. Tianshui still has many relics and legends related to Fu divination, such as the well-preserved Sanyangchuan Fuxi Guatai Mountain, which looks like heaven and earth. The mountains, waters and rivers around Guatai Mountain are very special, which coincides with the main elements of the Eight Diagrams founded by Fuxi-Yin and Yang and Tai Chi. The Weihe River (called Jishui in ancient times) and Hulu River (related to Fuxi Nuwa) flowing under the mountain are in the form of mating of Yin and Yang in Sanyangchuan. Guatai Mountain still preserves a woodcut of the Yuan Dynasty, Fuxi's Orientation Chart of Sixty-four Guas and Twenty-eight Stars. In addition, the names, sites and legends related to Fuxi's eight diagrams include Anfu, Longmadong, Shi Feng, Fenggou, Huluhe, Leize, Qiu Chi Mountain and Fuxi Temple. Judging from the national customs, the custom of divination has spread in Tianshui from ancient times to modern times. I think it is the continuation and legacy of the Eight Diagrams founded by Oracle Bone Inscriptions and Fuxi more than 6000 years ago, and it is the most vivid historical preservation in existence.
