Maling Ancient Road is an ancient stone road between Xiaoli Town and Maling Mountain in Shuangquan Town. Niu Shan and Taoshan scenic spots in Feicheng are in the south, Dafeng Mountain in the north and Mashan in the northeast. From Maling Village in Xiaoli to the east is a valley surrounded by mountains on three sides. If you continue to walk east and south, you can see a relatively concave mountain pass, which the locals call "Malingkou".

According to historical records, the "Battle of Maling" was a famous ambush battle in which Sun Bin led the Qi army to annihilate Wei Jun in Maling in 34 BC/KLOC-0 BC. It is reported that Wei Fabing attacked South Korea, and South Korea asked Qi for help, and Qi promised to rescue him. Sun Bin, a strategist of Qi State, used Pang Juan, commander-in-chief of Wei Jun, eager to win, withdrew his troops and cut corners to lure Wei Jun to pursue him. Pang Juan saw that the Qi army was cutting the stove every day, thinking that the morale of the Qi army was low and the number of men was greatly reduced, so he pursued all the way. The Qi army retreated to Maling and set an ambush to defeat Wei Jun. Sun Bin ordered people to carve the words "Pang Juan died under this tree" on a tree. Pang Juan was ashamed when he saw it, and drew his sword under the tree to commit suicide. This is the famous Battle of Maling.

Today, more than 2000 years have passed since the Battle of Maling, but there are different opinions about where the ancient battlefield is. Some people say that Maling ancient battlefield is in the southwest of Fan County, others say that it is in Juancheng, and there are many versions of Shenxian, Puxian and Tancheng, and all of them are well documented, so far no real conclusion has been reached.
