Yanjiao is located in a triangle at the junction of Hebei and Beijing. Yanjiao was named after being located in the suburb of Yan State during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It has a history of more than 3,000 years, and has the reputation of "driving the palace at the foot of the emperor".
