What are the modeling characteristics of Hua Biao in Tang Dynasty?

In front of the tombs of Tang gaozu and Li Zhi in Tang Gaozu, there are also several pairs of beautifully carved huabiao columns.

Among them, Xianling's Hua Biao is located outside the inner city south gate 100 meter. The whole stone carving category is extremely simple, but the carving art value is very high, rich and simple, firm in shape, rough and bold, and open-minded.

For example, the dragon pattern embossed on the base of China watch and the sister-in-law carved on it are very simple and vivid. Round-carved cassock, tall and realistic, carves the image of a beast, heavy body, simple lines, and pursues realism without paying attention to exterior decoration, which not only depicts the beast, but also is not frightening and can sprout. It is the representative and fine product of Tang Ling's stone carving art. At the same time, although the details of the watch base are damaged, it can still be seen that it is exquisite and gorgeous.

The most famous Chinese watch in Ganling is located between the east and west peaks in front of the mausoleum, and next to the stone steps is a rich and flat black jade. Behind the Hua Biao, there are more than 100 giant stone carvings, and the Hua Biao suddenly stands in front, marking the beginning of Sima Dao in Ganling.

This pair of China watches is 8m high and1.12m in diameter. It consists of five parts: a double-layer square base, a lotus cover seat, an octagonal column, a lotus spray top seat and a pebble. Lotus petals are carved at the upper and lower junction of the column body, creeping weed, pomegranate pattern and peach shape at the top of the column are carved in the middle.

Each side of the column adopts the method of reducing the bottom in stone carving, and is engraved with a sea pomegranate pattern symbolizing auspiciousness. The patterns on the other three sides are unrecognizable due to wind and rain erosion.
