Songkan Town is located in the north-central part of Tongzi County, 72 kilometers away from Tongzi County. Songkanyi, built in the sixth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1373), has always been a fortress in Sichuan and Guizhou, and is known as the north gate of Guizhou. It is also the shipping hub of Songkan River in Sichuan-Guizhou Salt Road and the commodity distribution center of Sichuan-Guizhou border trade.

Songkan Town originated from Songkan Post in Ming Dynasty and has a history of nearly 800 years. It is also a wonderful enjoyment to visit the vegetable market here and experience the lifestyle of the people in northern Guizhou. I like visiting the vegetable market very much, not for buying food, but for the local people who are closer to the vegetable market. What's more, I am also an ordinary person. Maybe the communication between people is not smooth. Although there are still unfamiliar places in the language, every smile, every expression and even every look can feel the enthusiasm of the local people.

I may live in the city, see strangers who are used to being cold-faced, get tired of being cold-faced by strangers, and like to play in small towns far away from the city. Although it is also a strange place, there are many strangers to face, but the strangers here don't look at each other coldly, and sometimes they give a polite smile. Songkan town, a remote and beautiful town, is really happy to go, and at the same time it has fulfilled its long-cherished wish.
