Does Quanzhen Taoist eat eggs?

As a disciple of Quanzhen Sect of Zi Xuan, he is a monk and must observe the precepts. You can't set foot in animal products unless you are in do or die.

Before the chicks hatch, eggs are not regarded as animals, but only as plant seeds, so eggs are vegetarian. Now both monks and practitioners eat eggs.

Quanzhen Sect, also known as Quanzhen Sect, is one of the two major schools of Taoism alongside Zheng Zheng. Wang Zhongyang (see article) was founded in the Jin Dynasty, and advocated the integration of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, that is, "the integration of the three religions, the clarity of mind and the uniqueness of truth", with Tao Te Ching, Neijing, Filial Piety Ching, Xin Jing and Fifteen Theories on Quanzhen Education as the main classics.
