Qianmei Village is located in Longdu Town, Chenghai District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province, with a population of 64 18 and an area of 2,245 mu of cultivated land. Zhu, a native of this village, participated in the revolution in 1927, served as governor of Jilin Province in 1949, served as member of the State Economic Commission in 1955, and died in Beijing in 1982.

Jumei Village now belongs to the former United States. The village was founded in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty (1357— 1377).
