Tianhou Palace in Haikou: Located at No.87 Zhongshan Road, Haikou City, with a total area of about 1.400 square meters, it is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit in Hainan. As the earliest Tianhou Palace in Hainan, formerly known as Huanhaifang, it was built in the early Yuan Dynasty and has a history of more than 700 years. It is known as the patron saint of the old Haikou. Tianhou Palace in Haikou is the largest Mazu Tempel in Hainan. Its architectural style is the traditional hanging beam structure in China, with fine workmanship and exquisite carving, which shows the long history of Mazu culture in Hainan.
